Hello friends, How would you like to spend two weeks to soak up the spirit of Beirut, living the life and slaying it till the end of the night, while at the same time having the option to work remotely from the renowned Beirut Digital District (BDD)? I’m Mehdi, a 33-year-old dude who is just a complete fireball for food, fun and flights to exotic places. I'm always up for an adventure, flexible as bungee cord, cool as cucumber, funny as a barrel of monkeys and the leader of the pack. Why Beirut ?? Beirut exudes an air of organized chaos: high-octane, full of contradictions, a head-on collision of the senses. Sights change, bars pop up and restaurants reinvent themselves on a weekly basis, its where the east and west, the old and new diverge into a melting pot satisfying your gastronomical fantasies and desires, which will make sure that you’ll be slaying it after work well into the late hours of the night. As for the accommodation, you will be staying in a super cozy renovated old bohemian apartment dating back to the French mandate era in the 1920s in the center of Gemmayze street. Gemmayze is the go-to place with all its restaurants, cafes and pubs, located in the heart of Beirut means you won't be far from the action. Within walking distance are the equally famous districts of Achrafiye, Badaro and downtown Beirut. Although, our residence has a dedicated working space and Wifi, we will also have exclusive access to the Beirut Digital District(BDD), which is right around the corner, with its working space and all day long free coffee, its my favorite. As for the food, oh my goodness!! Lebanese food has been constantly rated as one of richest and healthiest cuisines for many years in a row, you will enjoy that at great prices (the inflation is sometimes a blessing) that would seem absurd at times. Add Lebanon’s mild weather and small size (ease of transportation) to the mix, and you would have a great experience and have all the time and opportunity to do all the planned and few improvised activities. As for our road trips, from our location that is 15 mins away from the airport, we will discovering Lebanon from the cities to the mountains that gave the country its name. These cities of Byblos,Batroun and Jounie, are famed for their nightlife and restaurants and will be our destination after working hours. As for the weekend we will take on the cities of Sidon and Tyr, and if we are lucky, we might pass by Baalback with its Roman temples dedicated to Bacchus the god of wine and drinking. As for the trip costs, Safe and comfortable accommodation for up to 4-6 TripMates, transportation (a car will be provided) including transport from the Airport, scheduled activities and around the clock guidance and planning are all included. The Trip Leader fee is also included as the organization is quite a bit of work. Who are you ? If you are a digital nomad, entrepreneur, remote worker or even a fun-loving professional, this trip is designed for you. Easy going people , who know how to have a good time and be a part of a great co-working trip are welcomed to join. If you are interested send me a message with some info about who you are, why you would like to join. I’m happy to have a call or to chat and get to know each other! Cheers,

Beirut

Tag 1-5
Our journey starts at the Beirut international airport, and I will arrange transport from the airport to our residence. Feel Free to arrive at any time within the 1st week of our trip, our trip is flexible. Gemmayze, the famous district in Beirut is where we will spend most of our nights. Our home for a little under two weeks, is a renovated super cozy boutique apartment in a building dating back to the French mandate of Lebanon. Our place is easy to reach, and close to our everyday destinations including the Beirut Digital District (BDD), if you want to work from there. This gives us extra flexibility and freedom. If you are a Yogi like me, you can impress me with your skills at Beirut's numerous Yoga studios or in the serene wilderness, I prefer the wild.
2

Byblos

Tag 5-7
One of the oldest cities on earth, Byblos or Jbail will be less than 30 mins away from our residence. A quaint souk, with scattered coffee shops and restaurants, you can find lots of souvenirs, and personalized gift ideas, towards the end (closer to the sea) of the souk there is an old church, and as you continue down towards the mina (port) you will find some shops that sell fossils, and another small old church. There are so many ruins in this city that the shops are built on top of them, we will be visiting the old crusader castle and the old port. During Our stay the city would be decorated for its famous Christmas festivities. Byblos with its abundance of small pubs, restaurants and shops that makes this little picturesque city a must go-to destination after working hours.

Batroun Old Souk

Tag 7
Batroun is a treasure trove of Phoenician, Roman and Byzantine history. The natural sea wall adjacent to the old harbor, reinforced by the Phoenicians, is almost synonymous with Batroun. The Roman theater sits north of the wall, with its nine remaining steps and the old souks, a charming cobblestoned market with vaulted sandstone archways. Known for its nightlife , and its beachside restaurants Batroun is a must try.
4

Kesrouane

Tag 7
Images speak louder than words!!! Experience the pleasure of hiking in the majestic nature, and discover the mountains that gave Lebanon its name. Not only would we be going over the mountain but into the mountains as we go deep into the many caves deep into the ground, including Jeita Grotto, the three bridges gorge at Baatara and many more...
5

Tyre

Tag 7-8
More old Phoenician cities ??? you got it!!! If you are a history nerd, like I am, there are the Roman Ruins we could visit. If you are a foodie, like I am, there are more Lebanese food to be had by the beach in this city.
6

Beirut

Tag 8-10
Back to Beirut, in case there is some more plates and pints to murder. Beirut has few districts that I would love for my TripMates to experience, these include Hamra, Achrafiye and Badaro and the zaytounay bay. Take a morning stroll on the Corniche and try out your Yoga skills in one of many of Yoga studios in Beirut. And in case you wanna try anything just let me know!
