Explore the lesser-known gems of East Berlin, including architectural wonders crafted during the GDR era, modernist mosaics, socialist-realist monuments, and poignant Soviet war memorials. Opt to skip the touristy spots like Checkpoint Charlie and East Side Gallery in favor of a visit to the Soviet-German Museum Karlshorst.
