There's something truly magical about experiencing Austria during the winter months, and one of the most exhilarating ways to do so is through snowshoe hiking! The Semmering region is characterized by lush forests, rolling hills, and rugged mountains, making it a haven for hikers, skiers, and nature enthusiasts throughout the year. It's also famous for its charming alpine villages, each exuding a unique Austrian charm, with quaint wooden houses, traditional architecture, and warm hospitality.

Welcome to Semmering! Semmering is a picturesque region located in Austria, renowned for its stunning natural beauty and rich cultural history. Nestled in the eastern part of the Austrian Alps, the Semmering area has long been a favored destination for tourists seeking both relaxation and outdoor adventure. Depending on everyone's arrival time, we can have a short walk and try some local dishes for dinner together. Included in our stay, is an indoor pool access, that we can make use of today or the following one.

Ready for our snowshoe hike? Let's go! The clear winter air in complete silence and the magic of a deep snow-covered landscape awaken the longing for adventure. Snowshoeing in the Alps is a very special experience! We will go to rent our gear and hike for about 4-5 hours. Make sure to wear some warm clothes as well! Afterwards, we can warm up with a cup of hot chocolate and explore some more of the area!

After breakfast, it will be time to say goodbye! If you want to stay longer, you can leave your luggage at the reception and head out again. Semmering is very popular for skiing, so I definitely recommend you to try it out. Hopefully, we will see each other again on another trip!
