We will circumnavigate Elba, according to what the weather conditions will allow us to do, we will seek the hidden coves that are difficult to reach, and we will visit the marine towns of the island. Eating quality food and discovering the local wines and cuisine. We speak Italian, English, German and Turkish fluently.

About me: After 10 years of racing on sailing boats, I finally bought my own 10m sailing boat that I had for 11 years. 2 years ago I sold my lovely 1982 boat to start a new adventure with a 13m French ketch of the 70s, she has been completely re-fitted with all the important navigating equipment and she is ready for any long trip. For the next months we will be navigating Italy, our dream is to continue further south and continue on a life trip around the Mediterranean ...and who knows where.

Accommodation is in one cabin with bathroom and the dinette, we can accept maximum 4 participants of which two must sleep in the cabin together and 2 in the dinette. We will supply bedding (sheets and pillows) and you must bring your own towels (preferably white). You should pack in a soft bag that can be easily stored (no trolleys or rigid bags). Marciana Marina

Tag 1-2

Overnight stop in Marciana Marina, we can go inland and visit the town, taste one of the best gelati on Elba and walk along the seafront and check out the local night market and shops. In the morning, a swim in one of the secluded bays nearby.

Fetovaia

Tag 2-3

On the way to Fetovaia if the sea is calm enough, we will snorkel to the site of a shipwreck and then discover the wonderful natural rock formations descending into the water of Fetovaia. A visit to the beach is a must.

Lacona

Tag 3-4

Golfo Lacona is one of the most fascinating bays of Elba, we will anchor in a secluded bay where we can swim, there is a nudist beach nearby on the one side of the bay and on the other side there is a long stone beach where we can taste some local wines in the bar or restaurant on the beach. On the way to Lacona we will visit a cave in the water.

Porto Azzurro

Tag 4-5

We leave Lacona and continue our round trip to Elba, stopping where the weather allows us to stop, on the way we will see the remains of the iron extraction industry that once thrived on Elba, stop over in a bay to swim and final reach our destination in the evening, where we will stop overnight.

Portoferraio

Tag 5-6

After a night in the sea village of Porto Azzurro we will leave in the morning to stop in other special bay for a swim and continue to the historical town Portoferraio. We leave the boat in the ancient port of the city and visit the historical castle and the old part of the city with its unique view on the internal bay and on the open sea.
