Dear Travelers and Adventurers ✌🏻 I am David from Berlin (Germany), 31 years old, a sales engineer, and a passionate traveler who likes to explore our beautiful earth. Some of my hobbies are running, diving, photography, animals, and hiking, ... In the last few years, I saw several documents about wildlife (especially Africa) and this year I decided to follow in the footsteps of David Attenborough and Steve Irwin. For this adventure 🇹🇿, I´m looking for travel buddies in July to see the great migrations. My expectations/goal for this trip is to see the Big Five (Elephant, Lion, Rhino, etc.). The structure of the trip is as follows: Day 1: Arrival: Kilimanjaro Airport - Transport Hotel Day 2: Lake Natron Day 3: Serengeti Day 4: Serengeti Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Day 6: Lake Eyasi Day 7: Lake Eyasi Day 8: Tarangire Day 9: Tarangire Day 10: Arusha Day 11: Arusha National Park Day 12: Return What is included in the price? The accommodations during the safari trip are mainly campsites, farmhouses, and a few hostels. Before and after the safari, we will stay at a hotel with shared rooms. - 3 meals - Pick up from the airport - Entrance fees for parks, hikes, and activities - Jeep, guide - Driver plus vehicle costs - Tents The following are not included: - Flights - Alcoholic Drinks - Visa Paperwork - Tips More detailed information you will find in the trip Itinerary section. Kilimanjaro Flughafen

Tag 1-2

On the first day, we arrive from our home country. The approx. duration of travel from Europe is about 8 - 12 hours depending on stopovers etc. The best time to arrive is in the morning until midday because of the start of our safari so we have some time to recover from jetlag, preparation, etc. TripLeader will pick you up from the airport to a hotel in Moshi.

Natronsee

Tag 2-3

Day 1 of our safari begins at lake natron a salt lake where we can see flamingos and a beautiful red-colored lake. The lake is located at an active volcano and has beautiful waterfalls which can be visited.

Serengeti-Nationalpark

Tag 3-5

Now the real wildlife adventure is about to begin and we are about to see many animals in their beautiful habitat. We will stay for 2 days in the national park and gonna sleep at a campsite in the middle of the park.

Ngorongoro Crater

Tag 5-6

We start with breakfast at the Serengeti. After that, we are heading towards the Ngorongoro crater, a natural wonder which is an old volcano crater with one of the biggest calderas in the world. In the evening we will drive to lake Eyasi.

Eyasisee

Tag 6-8

At Lake Eyasi we will learn about the people of Tanzania. We will visit native tribes who are living in a traditional way. One tribe is specialized in hunting traditions. The second tribe we gonna visit are herders and smiths.

Tarangire-Nationalpark

Tag 8-10

For the next two days, we will spend our safari tour at Tarangire national park. There we can visit one of the greatest elephant populations in Africa. On the second day, we will drive through the national park and after that, we gonna drive toward the city of Arusha.

Arusha

Tag 10-11

Before Arusha, we will visit the tribe of the Massai people which gonna show us their traditional way of living. At Arusha, we will experience the city life of the people in Africa. We will spend our night in the city.

Arusha-Nationalpark

Tag 11-12

On the last day of our safari, we will visit another national park where can see plenty of animals, especially the colobus monkey which can be seen from a very close distance. We gonna sleep another night in the city of Arusha. On the next day, we will drive to the airport for our journey back home.
