Portofino Sea Kayaking Tour

We meet on the beach at Rapallo. There will be a practical briefing about how things will happen on the water. Technique, group management and safety issues will all be included. We then head towards Santa Margherita Ligure and then paddle into, and around, one of the most famous harbours in the world, the beautiful, little harbour of Portofino. After enjoying the views and a great focaccia, a gelato, or both, we’ll paddle back to our starting point.

Today we’ll continue our kayaking exploration starting from the little village of Recco, famous for its Focaccia al formaggio, and then onwards to Camogli, a village full of colour, only a short paddle away. We’ll then paddle along the coast to the 13th-century abbey of San Fruttuoso. Enjoying the cliffs, bays & beaches as we go. We’d be very happy to indulge in as much or as little Italian, as you like. After enjoying the views and the history of this magical place, although we are in no rush, we’ll journey back to our starting point. For lunch, again if you wish, please feel free to bring a packed lunch.
