Together we will explore the region of Palawan and experience the islands of El Nido and Coron 🇵🇭 What Will We Do? 🏖️ Soak up the sun on breathtaking white-sand beaches ⛵ Island hopping tour around El-Nido to explore Lagoons, Waterfalls, & Caves 🏊‍♂️ Dive into crystal-clear, turquoise-blue waters 🧼 Take a day trip to the "cleanest lake in Asia" Kayangan Lake 🍛 Indulge in authentic Filipino cuisine 👫 Make friends with many other travellers at hostels ...and that's just the beginning! Who Am I? Hi there! 👋 My name is Nima and I'm a 27 year-old travel enthusiast from Toronto, Canada 🇨🇦 I've visited over 30 different countries, on a mission to explore the world with new people, & build life-long memories 🌍

Where Will We Stay? The accommodations will vary between hotels and hostels, to keep the price as low as possible. Regardless, each accommodation will have a pool 🏊‍♂️, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and shared spaces to mingle with fellow TripMates. Please note that the listed price is for a shared room/dorm. If you have a preferred travel companion, please have them join as a separate TripMate! How Will We Get Around? We will be using taxis through the app Grab for any transportation on the islands, and will be hopping on either flights or ferries within the Philippines to get from island to island ⛴ For those who love to explore on their own, I've got you covered with an optional motor-bike rental in El Nido & Coron 🛵 Who Wants To Join? I'm seeking 2-6 like-minded individuals to join me as TripMates on this remarkable journey. I'm looking for those who want to seize this opportunity to connect with fellow adventurers who relish socializing, having fun, and embracing new experiences. Manila

Tag 1-2

Welcome to Manila, the bustling capital city of the Philippines. This city offers a unique blend of history, culture, and modernity. As the country's cultural and economic center, it has a vibrant atmosphere and a rich heritage. Spend your night in Manila exploring its diverse neighborhoods, indulging in delicious local cuisine, and immersing yourself in its fascinating history. Visit Intramuros, the walled city dating back to the Spanish colonial era, and explore its cobblestone streets, ancient churches, and Spanish-era architecture. Witness traditional dance performances, visit art galleries, or catch a live show at the Cultural Center of the Philippines. Explore modern shopping malls like SM Mall of Asia, or bargain hunt at local markets like Divisoria. Enjoy Manila's vibrant nightlife in areas like Makati or Bonifacio Global City. This first stop is the perfect start to our journey through the Philippines. Now, off to Palawan!

El Nido

Tag 2-6

We'll then hop on a flight from Manila to spend our next 4 nights in El Nido. Located in the province of Palawan, it is a tropical paradise renowned for its breathtaking landscapes and pristine beaches. It is a haven for nature lovers and adventure enthusiasts, with its crystal-clear waters, towering limestone cliffs, and vibrant marine life. Embark on island-hopping tours to explore the enchanting Bacuit Archipelago, which includes stunning destinations like Big Lagoon, Small Lagoon, and Secret Lagoon. Discover the vibrant underwater world of El Nido by snorkeling or diving. Marvel at colourful coral reefs, swim alongside sea turtles, and encounter diverse marine species. Relax and unwind at Nacpan Beach, a pristine stretch of white sand that offers a tranquil escape from the bustling town. Enjoy the stunning sunset views and indulge in delicious beachside seafood.

Coron

Tag 6-8

For our last stop, we'll take a boat over to Coron Proper and continue to explore the wonders of Palawan. This captivating destination is known for its dramatic landscapes, crystal-clear lakes, and world-class diving spots. It offers a perfect mix of adventure, natural beauty, and cultural immersion. Explore the Coron Island Tour, which includes highlights like the stunning Kayangan Lake, Twin Lagoons, and the otherworldly Skeleton Wreck. Don't miss a visit to the enchanting Barracuda Lake. Coron is renowned for its pristine dive sites, including the famous WWII shipwrecks. Explore vibrant coral gardens and witness the haunting beauty of underwater relics. Soak in the therapeutic Maquinit Hot Springs, a natural saltwater hot spring surrounded by lush mangroves. It's a perfect way to relax and rejuvenate. Sadly, it will then be time to say goodbye to the many new friends you have made on this journey. From Coron, you can catch a cheap flight back to Manila to connect home, or continue your trip through the Philippines' many islands!
