Not only will you have a blast in the city during the night, you will also be enjoying their delicious street food, sweets, and even the famous Korean BBQ! In addition to that, brush up on your Korean skills, whether you're a true beginner or advanced! Experience real Korean culture and make friends with natives and other foreigners alike. The main well-known party cities, Hongdae and Gangnam, are the destinations for this trip. In Hongdae, experience a thrifty shopping-like city where foreigners and locals are young and wild. Have street food like hotteok, Korean-style corn dogs, fishcakes, and more. In Gangnam, you'll see upscale buildings and bars so unique, they're impossible not to see. Come with me to South Korea and we'll party like it's hot!!

About me! My name is Le'Andra, and I am an avid traveler. I have traveled to South Korea for a study abroad experience in 2021 and lived there for 5 months. While there, I have explored far and wide, visiting places such as Hongdae, Gangnam, Itaewon, Busan, and islands like Jeju Island and Nami Island. It's been two years since I've last visited, and I miss the country every day. Through this wonderful opportunity, I would like two individuals to join me in remembering the spectacular places I once known while my time there. I would also like my TripMates to experience these places and enjoy themselves. This is stress-free, so leave all your worries behind and have the time of your life :)

Details about the accommodation: The accommodation will be a hotel, and the TripMates will have a shared room. The hotel will be based in Hongdae which is one of the cities that we will be exploring. The hotel has free wifi, great proximity from restaurants and transportation (bus, subway, taxis), air conditioning, etc. Check-in time is 3pm, check out is 11am. Hongdae Shopping Street

Tag 1

At Hongdae Street, a lot of the youth spend their time eating, drinking, and shopping. Feel free to look around and shop in Hongdae's stylish stores. We will also try delicious and affordable street food. We will also check out a few local cafes and see if your favorite idol has a birthday event going on!

Gangnam-gu

Tag 1

In Gangnam, it's where most of your favorite k-dramas have been filmed. Here, we will visit the COEX mall and do more touring. Once it gets dark enough, we will go to a few bars and check out what it's like to live the nightlife in an upscale place like Gangnam.

Hongdae Street

Tag 1-2

Towards the peak of the night, we will head back to Hongdae and party hard! We will meet people that hang out outside the bars, foreigners and locals, practice our Korean if need be, and experience Korean nightlife like never before. Fair warning though: we will be out pass midnight onto the morning. Hope you have the stamina for a whole night! We will be able to take a late night/early morning taxi back to the hotel.

Myeong-Dong Walking Street

Tag 2

(FREE TIME) Myeongdong is known for its amazing street food, and it specifically has an area for everyone to try them out for cheap! Eat to your heart's content and try something new during your free time! We will also check out the department store called Lotte Young Plaza where tons of stores are held along with a food court and portion to see your favorite Kpop idols.

Itaewon-dong

Tag 2-3

Itaewon, just like Gangnam, is a very upscale, unique, and fancy city in South Korea. If you have ever heard of the K-drama "Itaewon Class", this is the city that hosted its filming! We will visit some popular spots where the drama has been filmed, have a delicious dinner, and spend more time partying it up.

Incheon

Tag 3

(FINAL DAY) This is where our final day will be spent (sadly). As a final goodbye, we will visit the island of Wolmido which is near Incheon. There is an amusement park, a fairy-tale village, and a cultural street. One or two of these we will visit. We will then head back to the mainland of Incheon for a final meal together and make our way to our designated flights. At this point, I hope you enjoyed spending a fantastic weekend in South Korea with me!
