New Year's Oasis ✨: A Magical Journey from Muscat to Salalah

Day 1: Meet, greet, and dine! Welcome to Muscat! This is our first day together. On this day, we will either meet up at the airport or at our accommodation depending on our flight arrival times. We will have a chance to get to know each other, explore our nearby areas, and have our first dinner together as a group!

Day 2: Our Adventure Begins / Wadi Shab and Bimmah Sinkhole Group Full Day Tour. On this day we will be going on a 9-hour tour to Wadi Shab and Bimmah Sinkhole! Wadi Shab is a very popular outdoor attraction in Oman for both locals and expats, and people go there for nature, to swim in the freshwater pools or just to have a barbecue. The main attraction of the wadi is the waterfall in the cave, which you can reach after a roughly 40-minute hike and swimming in 2-3 pools. People love going to this wadi because the pools are always full of clear blue water! What's included Lunch Bottled water Air-conditioned vehicle

Day 3: Snorkeling trip and New Year's Eve / Snorkeling at Dimaniyat Islands and Dolphin Watching. The countdown begins! We will spend the day by going on a 4-hour cruise and snorkeling adventure during the day. Demaniyat Islands are a unique natural reserve located in Wilayat Al-Seeb, in the Sultanate of Oman, about 18 kilometers off the coast of Barka. It is composed of 9 islands spread over 250 acres of sea, rich in natural heritage, incredible coral reefs of varying kinds, and unique and rare sea life, such as Turtles, and Whale sharks amongst others. Home to these amazing creatures, it is also a magnet for many other amazing miracles of mother nature to migrate to seasonally. With crystal clear waters, endless rare sites, and wondrous creatures it is nothing short of a heaven for snorkelers, divers, and campers alike. An unforgettable experience to remember for a lifetime By nighttime, we will countdown to January 1st at a local restaurant, pub, or cafe. We may even get to see the fireworks!

Day 4: A new chapter / Salalah On this day we will be taking a flight to Salalah, the crown jewel of southern Oman, which offers a blissful escape with its unique blend of cultural richness and natural wonders. Nestled along the Arabian Sea, this coastal gem boasts pristine beaches, lush greenery, and a vibrant history. We will have a chance to explore the city, get comfortable at our new accommodation, and have dinner together.

Day 5: Wadi Darbat Waterfall, Castle & Beach. On this day, we will be going on a 6 to 8-hour mountain safari in the east of Salalah. The countryside east of Salalah is sprinkled with historical and scenic highlights. We will be visiting the following places (and much more): Taqah Beach Wadi Darbat Teeq Cave and Tawi Ateer Sinkhole Sumhuram Old City

Day 6: Departure Day On this day we will be having our last lunch together, pack our bags, and say our goodbyes. If we have enough time, we will shop for souvenirs if we have not done that the day before. See you on my next trip!
