special Rich Biodiversity, amidst diverse flora
The Manaslu (8163 m) sits enthroned, isolated, away from the crowds. Comparable in many ways to the Annapurna Trek, the Manaslu circuit trek takes place in a less crowded valley. The recent construction of lodges sees this circuit evolve over the years. The gompa (monastery) of the region, in an amphitheater at the foot of Manaslu, marks the entry into Buddhist territory. The Larkya La pass (5135 m), the high point of the route, presents a gently sloping climb, before plunging sharply to reach the lower valleys. Superb panoramas, typical villages inhabited by different ethnic groups.
