Madrid getaway to Route of the Faces, Toledo and adventure in Gredos

Hey, you! I’m on a solo birthday trip to Madrid and already have a rental car booked to do this adventure anyway. There are 2 spots for adventurers to join this getaway around Madrid. Read more below and come join me! 👋 About me: My name is Romulo, I'm passionate about exploring, maps, being in nature, and adventures. My favorite hobbies are hiking and cycling. I’m 38 years old on 31st August, experienced route planner and driver (have had my driver's license for more than 2 decades). Some years ago I did something similar in Munich/Germany and had a great experience. 📍 ​About the getaway adventure This getaway adventure was thought to explore the most amazing sights nearby Madrid, wisely using the time to be able to enjoy every place with only 3 days and 2 nights. It was planned for budget travelers/adventurers and made for early birds that don't mind waking up with the sunrise to be able to increase the day's enjoyment. I will be renting a car at Madrid airport and this is the start and end of this adventure. 📍 ​The planned itinerary Check below the summary itinerary and more details in the detailed trip itinerary section below. Day-1 01/09 (13h) Madrid >> Route of the Faces (Buendia) >> Aranjuez >> TOLEDO (overnight) Day-2 02/09 Toledo >> Sierra de Gredos Regional Park (14km hiking) >> Gredos (overnight) Day-3 03/09 Gredos >> Segovia >> Royal Palace >> Parque de la Cuenca Alta >> Madrid (13h) 🏠 Where we will sleep For the overnights, I already booked 2 wonderful places B&B style (1 in Toledo and 1 in Navarredonda de Gredos), with the possibility to stay 3 persons, 1 bed per person (sharing the space). 🛏️ Bed types info: in Toledo, you will be sleeping on a comfy couch bed. In Gredos will be a single bed. Pictures and more info can be shared with interested tripmates, but the accommodation will only be shared with the confirmed ones. Important info to consider - Luggage will be limited in the car, small or medium are allowed. If you are traveling with a big suitcase, the best option is to pack only for the trip using a small/medium backpack and leave the luggage at the airport. - If the 2 spots mentioned are booked, we might be able to decide if we want to go in 3 persons with more comfort or open the 4th spot to help shared prices go down (stay bookings might need to be changed). 💰​ Estimated costs and expenses All shared costs are included: 🚗 Rental car 🚗 Fuel 🛏️ Accommodation Food is not included. We can decide where to eat as we go, keeping the budget style, or making exceptions if agreed (we're not on a company tour, so we're free to decide as we wish).
