The day has come, and you have arrived in paradise! 🌴✨ All you need to do now is get off the plane and hop in a cab or Bolt. I will be waiting for you at our villa, where everything is ready for your arrival. Our shared accommodation is located in Ponta do Sol, a charming coastal town. The house boasts multiple balconies with stunning views, a spacious and cozy common area, and a reliable internet connection. The closest beach is just a 2-minute walk away, and you can reach the famous Cascata dos Anjos ("Angels Waterfall") in the same amount of time. Once you've settled in, take some time to relax, freshen up with a shower, and soak up the sun by the pool in our beautiful villa or head to the nearby beach. Afterward, let's gather everyone together and embark on our adventure! 🌟 ** Note: The villa is subject to change.

Today, we will explore the city center of Funchal. We will visit the most beautiful and important streets, learn about the history of this marvelous town, and experience its vibrant atmosphere. Our first stop will be the local market - Mercado dos Lavradores - where we can indulge in a mix of beautiful local flavors and colors. We will then continue our journey to Santa Maria Street, which is renowned for its painted doors. Later, we will embark on a Cable Car ride, offering breathtaking panoramic views of Funchal and the surrounding island. This scenic journey will take us to a higher area, where we can explore the stunning botanical gardens. With over 2,500 exotic plants from all continents, the gardens create a vibrant mosaic of colors, complementing the beauty and exuberance of Funchal's Amphitheatre. Now, let's talk about the best part - going back down! To descend from our elevated vantage point in Funchal, we have the opportunity to experience a unique mode of transportation with origins dating back to the 19th century - the wicker basket cars. This unforgettable ride will add an extra touch of charm to our day. Enjoy your exploration of Funchal city center! 😊

Today, we will have the chance to enjoy Madeira's unique nature by hiking one of its famous **levada walks**. The levadas were created as a system of channels that allowed water to be carried through the mountains, irrigating the soils and transporting it all the way down to the city. Apart from coming into contact with some of the most incredible natural protected areas in the world, we'll feel refreshed and renewed as we discover small villages off the beaten track along the way. Enjoy your hike and the breathtaking beauty of Madeira's nature! 😊

Today, it's time to get back to work! 😊 The plan is to spend the morning at the villa, taking care of work-related tasks so that we can enjoy the rest of the day. In the afternoon, we will drive to the western part of Madeira Island. Our first stop will be at **Cabo Girão cliffs**, which are some of the world's highest. These cliffs have a near-vertical drop of 580 meters down to the raging waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Afterward, we will drive to **Curral das Freiras** to admire the astonishing views and end our day at **Câmara de Lobos**, a picturesque fishing village.

Today, you have the freedom to explore or work at your own pace. Here are some ideas to make the most of your day: 1. **Visit Santana**: Santana is a beautiful town located on Madeira Island. It is famous for its traditional triangular-shaped houses with thatched roofs, known as "palheiros". These unique houses are a symbol of the region and are often featured in postcards and photographs. 2. **Explore Ponta do Garajau**: Ponta do Garajau is a stunning cove situated on the southern coast of the island. It is considered one of the wonders of the world and offers breathtaking views.

Ponta de São Lourenço is the **easternmost point** of Madeira with its unique landscape and amazing ocean views¹. Even though this is one of the most popular hiking paths on the island (for a good reason!), we will beat the main tourist wave by starting early at sunrise. Watching the sunrise over the ocean with the peninsula in front of us will give us a good enough boost for the day! Depending on your schedule, this activity can easily be done before the workday starts. In case we have time, there is a sweet reward waiting for us on the way back - a cute little black sand beach.

Today, we will embark on an active day, conquering the two highest peaks of Madeira - Pico do Areeiro and Pico Ruivo. At 1,818 meters above sea level, Pico do Areeiro is the third highest point on the island of Madeira. From this elevated location, you can enjoy a panoramic view that extends over the unique grandeur of the Madeiran Mountain Massif, with the Atlantic Ocean in the background. On clear days, you can even see Ponta de São Lourenço, Curral das Freiras, and, with greater visibility, the island of Porto Santo. Let’s go for it and then reward ourselves with some delicious Poncha!

Time flies, and today is our last day together. As for today's plans, I leave it in your capable hands! We can decide together on something to do, or you can take the lead and do as you like. In the evening, we'll celebrate our farewell dinner. It will be a special occasion filled with laughter, stories, and memories to cherish.
