Olá everyone 🌸🦀 Are you ready to explore the amazing, sunny and vibrant Lisbon with a local for 5 days ? I bet you are 🙌🏼 Let me briefly introduce myself, my name is Chiara and I have been living in Lisbon for 5 years. I would describe myself as solar, energetic and passionate person. Food and pizza lover as all Italians, I divided myself between my passions: video, surf, yoga, hiking and hanging out with friends. I consider Lisbon as my second home, for this reason I decide to organise trips to meet link-minded people and have fun while sharing a bit of what I love more about Lisbon and Portugal. 🚃 🌊 🏖 So if you are for a looking forward to spend a long weekend, 5 days, in one of the most beautiful city of the Atlantic Ocean, discovering it with a local, having an amazing surf experience and chilling on amazing rooftops with new friends, this trip is made for you. 😋 ☯️ We will see the most famous attractions of the city, such as the ‘miradouros’, points of view where you can see a beautiful sunset, have a nice wine and enjoy the amazing brightness of the city. Miradouro da Graça, Senhora do Monte, Santa Luzia and Pôr do Sol are definitely on the to do list. We will visit the most traditional districts of the city, such as Graça, Alfama, Alcantara and Belem. Discover the most typical tasquinhas and restaurants and listen Fado, while eating a delicious Bacalhau A Bras. What else? On the weekend the idea is to go Caparica, on the other side of the Tagus River, where we will attend a surf class, to have an immersive Atlantic Ocean experience and connect with the ocean and its waves. 🏄‍♂️ We will be assist during the classes by the amazing teachers of Lombok Surf School that will guide us into this amazing experience. ☀️🌈 And in the nights we will enjoy some of the coolest venues in the city to dance and listen to good music.🎪🎼 I’m looking for 5 open minded people, okay to share a bed in a hostel dorm and live at the fullest Lisbon and its multicultural atmosphere. 🌍🏨 Little resume of the trip costs 💰: These only include the accommodation on site (I calculate around 35-45 € per night), the surf class (35 € including the class, the surf board and the swimsuit ) and a small trip leader fee per person, as I take care of the organisation. For the rest of the costs, like food and beverage, we can divide everything on Splitwise once we decide what exactly we want to do. We can have optional daily extra activities like yoga, walking, biking tours. Rooftop yoga and daily yoga classes can be booked directly during the trip. Is this trip tempting your traveller spirit? Lisbon

Tag 1

Arrival in Lisbon, check in at the hostel at 16 P.M. Welcome meeting at the hostel. A brief presentation and ice break games to better know each other, share some expectations for the trip, understand where we are located and have a little overview of the closest services and facilities. Aperitivo and sunset in one of the best miradouro of the cities and first dinner out all together.

Alfama

Tag 1-2

The first tour will be in Alfama, the oldest and most characterful district of the city. In the past was mainly living there fishermen and the Portuguese working class. It also known as the cradle of Fado, a typical melancholic music, often about the sea or the life of the poor, an infusion of sentiment of resignation, fate and melancholy. Alfama is a delightful maze of cobbled streets and traditional houses. We will passed by many of the most iconic building of the city: the Panteão Nacional, the Igreja São Vicente de Fora, the São Jorge Castle and the Sé Cathedral.

Feira da Ladra

Tag 2

Then we will go to discover treasures at Lisbon’s most iconic market, the Feira da Ladra, or flea market, where there’s always something original or vintage to be found. You can find there things such as old vinyls, clothes and handcrafts from all over the world. It is held every Tuesday and Saturday.

Graça

Tag 2-3

The Graça District is one of Lisbon's oldest suburbs, located on top of her highest hill, a few blocks north-east of the Castelo de Sao Jorge and just up the hill from São Vincente de Fora Monastery. The neighbourhood, which centres around the Largo da Graça (the number 28 tram stops here), boasts some of the most spectacular views in Lisbon. The most famous viewpoint is the Miradouro de Santa Graca. The other is Miradouro da Senhora do Monte, which is the highest point of Lisbon. Perfect place to enjoy the sunset with a cold beer.

LxFactory

Tag 3

Lx Factory is a very eclectic space. A creative hub, co-op occupied by a mix of shops, boutiques, art galleries, restaurants, cafes, and bars. Located in the Alcantara neighborhood, it's situated by the Tagus River and near the 25 de Abril Bridge, in a waterfront industrial area halfway between Cais do Sodre and Belem.

Belém

Tag 3

Head west of the city centre to a corner of Lisbon that’s at the heart of Portuguese history. Near the mouth of the River Tagus, Belém is the site of maritime legends, the birthplace of the pastel de nata (custard tart) and home of some of Portugal’s most important museums and galleries.

Caparica

Tag 3-4

Just a few minutes from Lisbon are the 15 km of beaches at Costa da Caparica. It’s very easy to get there by car, crossing the bridge or catching one of the buses from Praça de Espanha or Campo Grande. And when you get here, the best thing is probably to jump on the mini-train that stops at all the beaches from the centre going south, which vary in mood and crowd. The beaches in the centre are the busiest, while those further away are popular with those who want to spend the whole day on the sand or sun loungers. All the beaches share the fact of having excellent bars and restaurants where you can order a jar of sangria, grilled fish and a plate of clams. Here we will have our two our surf class, the day will be variable depending on the way conditions.

Cabo da Roca

Tag 4-5

( Optional ) Depending on our schedule and willing, we can decide to visit Sintra, a place full of magic and mystery, where there is an enchanting forest rich in biodiversity. Other must see places are Cabo da roca and Praia da ursa - the westernmost point of Europe, where the ocean crash on breathtaking cliffs.
