Isn't it time for you to leave the busy atmosphere of your hometown to get a rest on the seaside? Just come, I’ll take care of all the rest as your co-tripper, organiser and facilitator! Wake up in front of the Mediterranean Sea, have breakfast at your pace (will it be a brunch?), listening to your favourite Lo-Fi beats playlist, plan your day of work from one of the most beautiful coasts in Europe. At lunch, select your best restaurant or cook local recipes and have lunch with your new coworkers. Pick your best working spot during the afternoon, and chose what's best for you for the evening : visit, have a drink, read a book on the terrace, cook your favourite meal,... you tell us! I propose you a last-minute coworking trip, by the Croatian coast, to work while enjoying what life has to bring and explore the nature, the islands and the cities around. And I do that because I love traveling, organising stuff and doing something with people I will know. Also, as I love working from abroad in a safe, chill space, surrounded by active people, I want to offer exactly this type of trip. Here is what I propose in terms of organisation and spirit for this trip: >> First of, feel free to be yourself entirely: each one has his / her own rythme, no one HAS to do anything. >> I will be in charge of all the logistics aspects (housing, rent a car, plan visits and check schedules, make propositions for restaurants, activities, ...) : you don't have to be proactive but can be (obviously) if as me you like organising trips! >> We consider our team as a bunch of independent people, but I will make propositions so that we can enjoy our time together. Long story short: no obligation, only do what you think is best for you. >> Regarding food (represents 50% of my day for sure), I am an advocate of testing local food while eating healthy, fresh food. >> I like outdoor activity and sport, so will probably be doing plenty of this stuff as well. Activities I thought about: - all the destinations you will find in the trip description - Croatian cuisine cooking class - kayaking / diving / windsurfing - cycling on the islands - party / board games / anything at our place - … any suggestion ? About me before you embark in this: I am French, am 27 yo, lived and studied in France, Singapore and Canada. Explored many countries for studies, tourism or work. We are traveling across Southern Europe with my girlfriend and I wanted for this week to meet new people and organise this coworking trip, as I am a fervent supporter of remote work, and want to prove it is possible to test new ways of living. Also I like to visit when tourists are abseeeeent! Best way to discover the true way of life (almost) of local areas. I am currently freelance, and previously worked as a consultant in the sustainability area for 4 years. For our trip, we decided to take no plane to reduce as much as we could our impact on the environment. I suggest you do the same to join Split, it is a real adventure in itself and many solutions exist (check Trainline, or Rome2Rio), but you are obviously autonomous on this decision ;). Just a few logistical information : - The cost of the trip will depend on the number of TripMates we are. This is the minimum price. - One house is booked (hell of a house !!) but you need to be fast so that I can confirm quickly. - I set a kind of high cost, but of course if we don't spend all, I will pay you back what remains. - The rest is in the description ;)

1
Okrug Gornji
Tag 1-9
That's where we sleep! A nice as house, with a view, on the Croatian Coast, with nothing to see but the sea... What a dream (at least for me, what about you?). This will be our safe place, base camp, call it what you want.
2
Split
Tag 9
The big city we'll be staying around is Split, a Croatian coastal jewel! It is even part of the World Heritage UNESCO list since 1979, and has a lot to offer I'm sure! We can walk by the historical streets, visit the Diocletan's palace, go shopping, or just go buy some fruits for breakfast ;).
3
Brač
Tag 9
The island of Brac is famous for the pebble beach (golden horn) located outside the town of Bol. For internet users and water sports enthusiasts, this beach would be the best destination. In the small towns of the island such as Milna, Supetar, Bobovisce, tourists can easily find peace and tranquility and enjoy the charm of authentic stone architecture. Brac (can't find the accent on my keyboard) is one of the islands close to Split. It is a beautiful, natural island, with plenty of hiking and walks to do around. This we could do on the Sunday after you arrive, so that we have the whole day to explore!
4
Hvar
Tag 9
Same here :) Hvar is another island that I thought we could do if we have enough time, it is very close and seems wonderful. Depending on what we decide together, we can visit it or not, and find the right day for it.
5
Trogir
Tag 9
Trogir is a pretty little town, nestled between Split and Šibenik, on the Dalmatian coast. It has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997. Its interest, as often in Croatia, lies in the alleys of its historical center and its seafront. The particularity of Trogir is that its historic center is "cut" from the rest of the city by two arms of the sea, which surround it and give it the shape of a small island, from which you can only access by one of its bridges.
6
Krka
Tag 9
Located inland in southern Croatia, Krka (pronounced "Keurka") National Park reveals all the natural charm of the country. This magnificent National Park of 109 km² includes a part of the Krka River, the Visovačko jezero lake as well as a multitude of waterfalls, including the Skradin Falls which spill into a beautiful setting! The National Park allows you to walk in peace in the heart of the surrounding flora and fauna. The site of "Krka" is very comparable to that of the Plitvice Lakes, also located in Croatia. After passing the National Park area and the waterfalls, the Krka River continues its way through the charming village and port of Skradin, and then, after 20 km, reaches its mouth near Šibenik.
