Dear Travelers and Adventurers ✌🏻 I am David from Berlin (Germany), 31 years old, a sales engineer, and a passionate traveler who likes to explore our beautiful earth. Some of my hobbies are running, diving, photography, animals, and hiking, ... In the last few years, I saw several documents about wildlife (especially Africa) and this year I decided to follow in the footsteps of David Attenborough and Steve Irwin. For this adventure, I´m looking for travel buddies 🇹🇿 in July to see the great migrations and climb to the peak of Kilimanjaro. My expectations/goal for this trip is to see the Big Five (Elephant, Lion, Rhino, etc.) and climb to one of the highest summits on our planet. The structure of the trip is as follows: Day 1: Arrival: Kilimanjaro Airport - Transport Hotel Day 2: Marangu gate - marangu cabin (2.750 m) Day 3: Mandara cabin - Horombo cabin (3.750 m) Day 4: Horombo cabin - Kibo cabin (4.700 m) Day 5: Kibo cabin - Peak (5.895 m) - Horombo cabin Day 6: Horombo cabin - Marangu gate Day 7: Lake Natron Day 8 Serengeti Day 9: Serengeti Day 10: Ngorongoro Crater Day 11: Lake Eyasi Day 12: Lake Eyasi Day 13: Tarangire Day 14: Tarangire Day 15: Arusha Day 16: Arusha National Park Day 17: Return What is included in the price? - Accommodation: The accommodation for the hike is camping and hut options | The accommodations during the safari trip are mainly campsites, farmhouses, and a few hostels. Before and after the safari, we will stay at a hotel. - Personal carrier 15 kg luggage - 3 meals - Oxygen system and emergency oxygen - First aid set - Pick up from the airport - Transfer to the Kilimanjaro - Entrance fees for parks, hikes and activities - Jeep, guide - Driver plus vehicle costs - Tents The following are not included: - Insurance for helicopter rescue until 6.000 m - Flights - Alcoholic Drinks - Visa Paperwork - Tips More detailed information you will find in the trip Itinerary section. Kilimanjaro International Airport

Tag 1-2

On the first day, we arrive from our home country. The approx. duration of travel from Europe is about 8 - 12 hours depending on stopovers etc. It is required to arrive in the morning until midday because of the start of our hike so that we have some time to recover from jetlag etc. Organized pick-up from the airport to a hotel in Moshi.

Marangu Gate

Tag 2-3

At the hotel, we will meet our tour guides for our hike to the peak. After breakfast and following briefing we start our hike. Which starts in a rainforest. The first stop is at Marangu cabin (Marangu gate - Marangu cabin (2.750 m)).

Kibo Huts

Tag 3-5

On the second day, we will hike to horombo hut which is at 3.750 m altitude. On the following day, we will hike to Kibo hut which is at 4.700 m altitude. There we will pass our last fresh water supply.

Kilimanjaro Peak

Tag 5

On the 4th day, we will start around midnight our hike to the peak to see the sunrise from the summit. We will pass snowy landscapes. The sunrise is around 6 o´clock in the morning. The Uhuru peak is at 5.895 m altitude.

Marangu Gate

Tag 5-7

From the Uhuru peak, we will descend to the horombo hut again at 3.750 m altitude and spend our night. On the last day (6) we will head back to the beginning of our hike. There we will get a lift to a hotel in Arusha.

Lake Natron

Tag 7-8

On day 7 our safari begins to lake natron a salt lake where we can see flamingos and a beautiful red-colored lake. The lake is located at an active volcano and beautiful waterfalls which can be visited.

Serengeti

Tag 8-10

Now the real wildlife adventure is about to begin and we are about to see many animals in their beautiful habitat. We will stay for 2 days in the national park and gonna sleep on a campsite in the middle of the park.

Ngorongoro Crater

Tag 10-11

We start with breakfast at the Serengeti. After that, we are heading towards the Ngorongoro crater, a natural wonder which is an old volcano crater with one of the biggest calderas of the world. In the evening we will drive to lake Eyasi.

Lake Eyasi

Tag 11-13

At Lake Eyasi we will learn about the people of Tanzania. We will visit native tribes who are living in a traditional way. One tribe is specialized in hunting traditions. The second tribe we gonna visit are herders and smiths.

Tarangire National Park

Tag 13-15

For the next two days, we will spend our safari tour at Tarangire national park. There we can visit one of the greatest elephant populations in Africa. On the second day, we will drive through the national park and after that, we gonna drive toward the city of Arusha.

Arusha

Tag 15-16

Before Arusha, we will visit the tribe of the Massai people which gonna show us their traditional way of living. At Arusha, we will experience the city life of the people in Africa. We will spend our night in the city.

Arusha National Park

Tag 16-17

On the last day of our safari, we will visit another national park where can see plenty of animals, especially the colobus monkey which can be seen from a very close distance. We gonna sleep another night in the city of Arusha. On the next day, we will drive to the airport for our journey back home.
