Island Adventures in Northern Michigan (Les Cheneaux, Mackinac, Grand)

This trip is the ideal combination of relaxation and adventure! My name is Mark and I have been traveling to Northern Michigan for more than 25 years now! I am an extroverted, fun-loving, easy going, and adventurous person who is looking for TripMates who exhibit the same qualities. I love hanging out with people who are kind, helpful, caring, and are genuinely interested in sharing, learning, and adventuring! If these traits apply to you, join me! Side note: Some level of physical fitness is encouraged, as we will be doing activities that require some strength and coordination. Our home base is a rustic cabin on a small peninsula overlooking Mismer Bay and Lake Huron, from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. From there, we will be taking adventure/exploratory day trips to 3 different islands! We will kayak in and through some of the beautiful Les Cheneaux Islands, bike around historical Mackinac Island, and hike to scenic overlooks on Grand Island where we can see Pictured Rocks and Lake Superior. Mix in some pontoon boat rides, campfires down by the lake, trips to the local coffee shop and distillery, and we've got ourselves an awesome trip! Included in the price is: - Double occupancy lodging - Breakfasts - All adventure activities Not included: Transportation costs (fuel, etc.) will be divided among participants at the end of the trip, and lunches and dinners will be paid by each individual participant. If any TripMates are flying in to Detroit Metro Airport, we can discuss pick up times for Friday morning (6/23/23).
