Days are flexible and weather-led. 💚 Where we stay We stay in a beautiful country house in the Alvorges region, right next to the Portuguese Way of the Camino de Santiago • Private bedrooms with a botanical welcome gift • Shared kitchen and living areas • Outdoor spaces to sit, walk, and rest • Swimming pool for slow afternoons • Quiet surroundings, no traffic or crowds 💚 Food Food is simple and shared. We cook and eat together after visiting local markets, using seasonal, local ingredients. Meals are relaxed and nutritious. Herbal teas and simple plant preparations are part of daily life

💚 About me I’m Noemi. I’m originally from Hungary, have travelled the world while working on superyachts, and now live in Central Portugal near Coimbra, in the Alvorge area. I love to write and to host small slow-travel trips focused on shared meals, time outdoors, and an unhurried pace and enjoy deep and meaningful conversations.

We will be sharing a beautiful country house. You will have your own private room, with shared indoor areas and plenty of space. There is a garden outside. A swimming pool for slow afternoons. Quiet corners to sit, journal, or simply do nothing. We will cook together. Food is simple, seasonal, and nourishing. Herbal allies are gently woven into our meals, broths, and daily rhythm. There is always tea on the stove.

Coimbra

Tag 1
We meet in Coimbra in the afternoon and travel together to the house in the hills. After settling into your room and taking time to arrive, we share a simple, nourishing dinner together. The evening is unhurried, with time to swim, sit outside under the stars, and gently land into the rhythm of the week.
2

Alvorge

Tag 1-2
After a gentle morning yoga and shared breakfast, we head out to nearby villages, including Penela, to visit small markets and local shops, picking up fresh vegetables, bread, goat cheese, and other seasonal produce. The day is unhurried, with time to wander, stop for coffee, and ease into the rhythm of everyday life in the region before returning home to cook together and collect some local herbal allies for the week ahead. We will discuss different ways to create a small apothecary at home.
3

Tomar

Tag 2-3
We travel to Tomar for a day shaped by history, stone, and quiet symbolism. Walking through the Convent of Christ and the old town, we take time to notice carved details, courtyards, light, and the way this place has held layers of human thought, craft, and mystery over centuries. There is space to wander, pause for lunch or coffee, and feel the atmosphere of a town that invites curiosity rather than explanation, before returning home for a slower evening together.
4

Fátima

Tag 3-4
We spend the day in Fátima, moving slowly through its wide open spaces and long walkways, observing how people gather, pause, and pass through this place. There is time to sit, walk, people-watch, and feel the atmosphere of a site shaped by reflection and collective presence, before returning home with space to rest or swim as the day softens into evening.
5

Talasnal

Tag 4-5
We head into the hills to visit Talasnal, one of the most beautiful schist villages in the Serra da Lousã. Walking its narrow stone paths and terraces, we take time to notice craftsmanship, forest views, and the quiet rhythm of mountain life. There is space to wander, sit, take photos, and enjoy the feeling of a place shaped slowly by land, weather, and human hands, before returning home in the afternoon for a relaxed evening together.
6

Cascata da Pedra Ferida

Tag 5-6
We spend the day in the forest near Espinhal, walking a shaded path to Cascata da Pedra Ferida, a wide, powerful waterfall held by rock and trees. There is time to sit, swim if the weather allows, and rest by the water, letting sound and cool air slow the body and senses. The afternoon unfolds gently, with space for quiet, nature connection, and returning home without hurry. We spend the late afternoon/evening at the house exploring practical herbal preparation, learning how to work with common plants through simple remedies such as oils, teas, or balms. The pace is slow and hands-on, with time to ask questions, cook together, and integrate what has been experienced throughout the week.
7

Coimbra

Tag 6-7
On our final day, we return to Coimbra to wander through the Botanical Garden and visit the historic library, taking time to enjoy the city’s quieter, reflective spaces. After a relaxed lunch or coffee together, we head to the station for onward travel and airport connections, carrying the week with us as we part ways.
