Lisbon is the city, we all know that. Some of us know about Porto, Braga, maybe Coimbra or Fátima. But do you really know what is the Portuguese paradise? I believe you don't! A Unesco Heritage, a beautiful landscape, an amazing gastronomy, an incredible sun, and peace. Do you believe it? No? So, let's explore it together. You will be with me in my home town, a medium city in the north of Portugal. Macedo de Cavaleiros is a central town in the district of Bragança. The "caretos de Podence" are a millennial heritage and have the seal of cultural heritage from UNESCO. The food is amazing: from Posta (a 10 cm height beef or alheira, maybe some river fish or our traditional codfish. This trip is a relaxed trip to recharge batteries. We will have long walks into nature, visite some old and abandoned villages, visit churches and other landmarks and have the help of a local guide to explain to us the history of each place. Amazing? We'll get the help of a man with more than 20 books published about the history of the region. Additionally, we can have a paintball game in the forest, a cocktail in a boat and much more. This trip includes: - Accommodation for 4 nights in a hotel or Airbnb (Shared rooms) - 1 last meal; - Guided visits; - All travel in place (we will need a car to move us between places) - Breakfast; -Some surprises; I'm Rui, and I'll be your prime guide on this journey with sport, walking, relaxation, food, and nature. We will explore the city, visit some landscapes and landmarks, connect with a local guide to explain the history of the city, the architecture of the old monuments, and get into the gastronomy. In the afternoon we will give a medium/long walk in the mountains. At night we will have a fantastic restaurant waiting for us to try this amazing gastronomy.

Tag 2-3

This is truly paradise on Earth. One of the 7 wonders of Portugal. A natural reserve for animals, a beach, a natural park, and much more. We will get up early, walk into the deep of the natural reserve and see some birds like Pluvialis apricaria, Gallinago gallinago, Tringa nebularia, and much more. After this, we will get a picnic (included in the trip expenses) and an optional paintball game. After that, we can relax a bit on the beach, and at sunset, we can have an optional boat trip and a cocktail. During the day at the beach, you can do some kayak or other nautic sports. At night we can stargazing or have a drink in the city center.

Podence

Tag 3

On this day we will visit some villages around the city, and get to know Podence, the land of Caretos, a millennial heritage, and also some lost and abandoned villages. Prepare yourself to hear some spooky histories about this. We finish our trip with a final dinner and a big group photo. Have you already booked this?
