Join me this December for an exciting 4-day ski trip in the fluffy powder of Utah's mountains! This trip is for men who feel confident on their skis and their ability to get down most runs (green-black). Here's the high-level itinerary: Day 1: Arrive, rent gear, enjoy Salt Lake City. Day 2: Ski Park City, the largest ski resort in North America ($125/day) Day 3: Ski Snowbird, home to many adrenalin-pumping black diamond runs ($184/day) Day 4: Powder Mountain, the perfect place for a powder day ($199/day) Day 5: Head home I'll have restaurant recommendations and plenty of ideas for enjoying ourselves after our action-packed days skiing.

About me! I'm Brendon! I've been skiing since I was 10 and enjoy hitting everything on the mountain (except cliffs and shutes... those are mostly scary). You can typically find me weaving between trees on a powder day, or checking my speed on a sunny day. I also love to hike and trail run (recently ran my first half-marathon). I'm putting this trip together to help others get a taste of the amazing dry powder we have in Utah. The snow is as fluffy as it gets on powder days, and sunny days are warm and pleasant. I also love to make friends from different places and sharing life experiences. Nothing is more fulfilling than connecting with different people. Let's commit to having a good time and shredding some pow!

Details about the accommodation: Planning on booking an AirBnB based on the number of TravelMates that sign up. There are several AirBnBs located in Salt Lake City, UT that are within an hour or so from these ski resorts. Since this is a "men's only" trip, I'm ok with either a bunk room or separate rooms, though likely bunks to save on cost. There will also be a bathroom, living area, and likely a kitchen (though we should be eating out mostly). Let me know if you have questions about the trip in the Q&A section. I will reply back to you as soon as possible!

Reiseverlauf
1

Salt Lake City

Tag 1-2
Fly in to SLC. I'll pick you up from the airport. We'll go get any gear you need for our ski trip. Then, it's time to hit the city! We'll check out major sites and attractions (like Temple Square), eat good food, enjoy each others company, and get a good nights rest for the big ski days ahead.
2

Park City

Tag 2-3
The largest ski resort in North America. With 250km of skiable area, this mammoth resort is impossibly large and incredibly fun to explore. Head up to Jupiter peak for memorable backcountry adventures, or stay on the face for seemingly endless piste. And for lunch, we'll head to any of the several lodges and eateries found in the resort or in town. I have fond memories of burgers and chili cheese fries after getting my butt kicked on a double-black run :)
3

Alta

Tag 3-4
Today we'll head up little cottonwood canyon for some skiing in a new area of Utah. Where Park City is piste paradise, Alta is a bit more rugged. There are groomed runs, but there are many more intermediate and expert runs here that are ungroomed. Just the way I like it! Plenty of trees and bowls to frolic in :)
4

Powder Mountain

Tag 4-5
Oh Powder mountain, the good times we've had. Last year, Powder Mountain got 350" of snow. That's a lot. The best powder I've ever experienced was at Powder Mountain, just after a storm. Snow was to my knees ALL DAY LONG. It was amazing. Literally floating on clouds. If we're lucky, we may get the same treatment! Powder mountain has a great mix of piste and "not-piste" skiing. And, they only let out a certain number of tickets! If we're lucky enough to get some, we'll be among the few enjoying the groomers and cliffs of Powder Mountain.

Salt Lake City International Airport

Tag 5
We're exhausted, but we're fulfilled. We've visited 3 of Utah's best resorts and had a blasted good time. We're sad it's over, but glad to have made new friends (and are looking forward to round 2 next year).
