Join me in Casablanca for a month of coworking! I plan to go to the beach most days and see live music. I will also be celebrating my birthday during this month and would love to celebrate with you and my friends in Casablanca! As I lived in Casablanca, I know all the best restaurants, cultural sites, and places to visit. Cultural classes: You will get the opportunity to learn about African drumming and try different types of percussion. These classes will be taught in a group session by a famous Moroccan percussionist. You will also have the opportunity to learn about classic Moroccan cooking such as tagines, couscous, zaalouk, and tetktouka. These can be adapted for dietary needs including pescatarians, vegetarians, and vegans. Cultural visits: This will also include visits to a Moroccan hammam, the famous Hassan II mosque, a shopping trip in the ancient medina, and a visit to the new Anfa Park where music festivals are held. I plan to arrange some weekend trips to other beach cities as well! These will include watersports such as surfing or stand-up paddleboarding.

About me! I am Kellie and I love to travel and have been to 33 countries! I have lived in Italy, Czech Republic and Morocco. I grew up with my family hosting exchange students and have lived with people from more than 15 countries. I love to get to know others and their cultures. For this trip, Morocco is my favorite place in the world. I lived there in 2017 and02018 and have been back almost every year since (except for during lockdown). My base was in Casablanca but I have been from north and south from Tangier and El Hoceima, all the way south to Agadir and Mirleft. This has included every large city and small village between. I speak Moroccan Arabic and love to chat with locals. I love sharing my passion for Morocco with others!

Details about the accommodation: The accommodation includes a private room and shared bathroom between you and one other person. It also includes a dedicated digital workspace and is perfect for coworking. There is also a balcony and space to enjoy the symphony of Casablanca sounds. Tangier

Visit Tangier, located only 9 miles from Spain. It's also great to hop over to spain for the day to purchase some great wine and cheese! Tangier is where the Atlantic and the Mediterranean Sea meet. It is a beautiful mountainous place with great food and breathtaking views. We will have the opportunity to stay one evening if we arrange prior.

Casablanca

Rabat

Tag 12

Rabat is a day trip away from Casablanca. I plan to visit Rabat on the weekend and go to the Ouidayas, the Kasbah, and the Ancient Medina. I plan to finish the day with live music and dinner on a boat. The boat is located on the river between Rabat and Sale, where it leads to the Atlantic Ocean. We can leave in the morning and return at night.

Stay for one night in a Riad in the Ancient Medina. Have the opportunity to visit Jemma Al Fenna, ride a camel, go for live music, and visit the famous La Mamounia hotel. We will also have the chance to visit the Yves Saint Laurent home: Jardin Marjoelle.
