special Wonder of the Modern World
special Multipurpose trip
Ladies, this adventure starts with a pisco sour, the traditional Peruvian drink: mixing Peruvian pisco with Key lime juice, simple syrup, egg white, Angostura bitters (for garnish), and ice cubes. It is beautiful to spend pleasant moments among friends. We know what we need: moments of fun, adventure, shopping, talking, getting pretty, dancing, laughing. Not everything is work, girls, we need moments for ourselves, the world is ours! This time, Cuzco, located southeast of Lima (Capital of Peru), was the city of choice for several reasons: we will enjoy together 6 unforgettable days. This trip is MULTISENSORY, as you will enjoy with all five senses and more. It is also MULTIEXPERIENCE, because there will be culture, fun, nature, pleasure and much more. We could call it of the 7 senses, because we will see (archaeological sites, nature and art), taste the food, one of the most delicious gastronomies in the world, the Peruvian, hear (music and the sounds of nature), feel (the healing effect of the hot springs), smell (the smell of fresh earth, which is the Pachamama) and perceive the energy of this magical city, navel of the world. We will have time to visit the most beautiful places of Cuzco, considered the center of the world and cradle of the Great Inca Civilization, visiting important archaeological ruins, city tour, and its surroundings, including the temple of Qoriqancha, the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, Quenqo, Puqapuqara and Tambomachay and is that the ancient Inca civilization was very advanced and powerful... We will visit (of course!) Machu Picchu, one of the seven wonders of the modern world, we will see alpacas and llamas. We will enjoy the delicious and renowned Peruvian food. We will go shopping at the handicraft market, have tea, have cocktails at a bar, dance and there will also be time to relax and connect with Pachamama (mother nature), it is very important that time for ourselves; we will also go to various historical sites, enjoy art, culture, history. Cuzco (Qosqo in Quechua language) is a magical city that amalgamates history (ancestral and colonial), we could say that it is an example of the process of syncretization, because the coexistence of two different cultures (Inca and Spanish) is natural.

About me: Hi, my name is Frida, translator and writer and for several years I worked as a flight attendant. As you may understand, I love culture and travel. I believe that in a trip, we can enjoy in different ways, making the most of the possibilities offered by the tourist attractions. Oh, I love languages, dancing, singing, talking, taking pictures, designing clothes and writing.

Accommodation: We will stay in a shared apartment, all to ourselves. We will have living room, dining room and kitchen at our disposal, with crockery and cutlery. Bed linen and towels are also available. If you like, we can prepare some dinners, I give you an idea: some delicious dishes of the world-famous Peruvian cuisine! Welcome to the land of the Incas, Cuzco awaits you with open arms and so do we!

Cusco

Tag 1-3
As Cuzco is located at an altitude of 3600 meters above sea level; we will take our first day in this beautiful city calmly, in order to acclimatize. So, the first day we will take a short walk around the city, we will go through the main square, we will observe the Cathedral; from there, we will continue along the Hatun Rumiyoc street (street of the main rock), where we will appreciate the famous Stone of the Twelve Angles, next to which we can take one or more unforgettable photos, next to the Inca. We will also go to the neighborhood of San Blas, where the most renowned artisans of Cuzco live, for example, the Mendívil family, recognized for their famous sculptures of angels with long necks; then we will visit the beautiful "pacchas" (water fountains) that embellish this city. Finally, we will visit the plaque of the Exact Center of the Inca Empire, located on Mantas Street. We will have a light lunch, mate de muña and go to sleep. The second day, we start the day with a rich traditional breakfast: cheese, coffee with milk, oropesa bread, cream and fruit juice, and we get ready to head to the Plaza de Armas, where our City Tour will begin. First, we'll take a 10-minute walk to the Koricancha Temple, or Temple of the Sun, a sacred place of purification and reflection, where the Inca royalty used to attend to consolidate their beliefs. Where you'll enjoy a guided tour lasting approximately one hour. The guide will explain the history and significance of this fascinating site. Next, our vehicle will take you to Sacsayhuaman, an incredible Inca site known for its impressive stonework. It is a citadel on the northern outskirts of Cuzco. The complex was built by the Incas in the 15th century, especially under the command of the Sapa Inca Pachacuti and his successors. Dry stone walls were erected on the site, built with huge stones, which workers carefully cut to fit them together without mortar. After Sacsayhuaman, the excursion will continue to Qenqo, an ancient site where the Incas performed rituals and ceremonies. Qenqo (Q'inqu in Quechua) means 'labyrinth'. It consists of subway galleries. Although most of its constructions (aqueducts, terraces, paths, colcas and liturgical baths) were destroyed by the conquistadors, it is still possible to appreciate the skill with which the Incas carved the stones. After exploring Qenqo, we will travel to Tambomachay, a place with beautiful water fountains where the Inca king used to spend time of relaxation and meditation. Finally, we will visit Pucapucara, an Inca checkpoint and control center with red construction. Once we have completed our exploration of Pucapucara, we will return to downtown Cusco, marking the end of the Cusco City Tour.

The town of Aguas Calientes, where we will be able to enjoy its stone paths, handicraft stores, and many types of food in many restaurants. Cusco

Tag 4-6
A ride on horseback or on foot to Zone X, a mystical place. It is a limestone hill where there are several caves or "chinkanas", natural and created by the ancient populations, which can be explored. The interior is quite dark (don't forget to bring a flashlight!), however, you can appreciate some details such as niches carved into the rock ... and the Temple of the Moon, a building dedicated to fertility, because the cave is shaped like a uterus, while the upper cavity where the light beam filters through would represent the vagina. A little outing, girls...? Ukukus bar or Mamma Africa can be... If you have something left to do, such as shopping for souvenirs, taking pictures, enjoying Peruvian gastronomy, strolling or simply connecting with the navel of the world. This is a day dedicated to you, just you. With those who wants, we can prepare a delicious local or continental breakfast. Everyone does their own activities.
