I'm Alexa, I finished my studies in Tourism and Management in Mexico (my home country) And since I was 18 I have been lucky enough to wander through some mind-blowing spots around the globe, making cool connections and lifelong buddies on the go. I'm all about that positive vibe – confident, upbeat, and a total extrovert. Punctuality and honesty? Big ticks in my book! When it comes to work, I'm all in – I'm like a detail detective, but hey, I'm also all about keeping things chill where it counts. The accommodation provided for this trip: We will stay in private apartments in: Medellín - Poblado area Apartment Cartagena - Airbnb with ocean view Santa Marta - Studio in El Rodadero Buritaca - Villa in the middle of the jungle Minca - this last with access to the river. But that's not all – the adventure continues as we journey to the breathtaking Guatape, a day excursion that promises awe-inspiring views and unforgettable memories.

Cartagena

Tag 4-7

Step into the pages of history as we explore one of Colombia's most storied cities, Cartagena. Wander through the enchanting streets of Getsemani, alive with a riot of colors and vibrant culture. Brace yourself for a sunset that will forever be etched in your memory at the iconic Castillo de San Felipe de Barajas. And that's just the beginning – venture to Aviario Nacional, the largest in all of Latin America, and be enchanted by the exotic avian wonders. Prepare for a day of tranquility and bliss as we set our sights on the Islas del Rosario, where the turquoise waters beckon you to snorkel and have a blast under the water.

Santa Marta

Tag 7-8

Nestled in the heart of Colombia's coastal charm, Santa Marta, the oldest city in Colombia, welcomes us with open arms. A well-deserved night's stay here will recharge us for the upcoming adventure to the spellbinding Tayrona National Park. Brace yourself for encounters with underwater wonders like fishes and rays, and keep your eyes peeled for the majestic toucans and mischievous monkeys that grace our path. Our accommodation for this evening is a mere stone's throw away from the sandy shores, and just around the corner lies El Rodadero – a lively hub of tourism, teeming with diverse restaurants and vibrant energy. And the icing on the cake? A private jacuzzi awaits us atop the rooftop, promising relaxation and indulgence as we soak in the magical atmosphere.

Buritaca

After our memorable day at Tayrona National Park, our villa in Buritaca awaits us. Tonight, we're in for a bonfire evening, during which everyone can organize an extra picnic and relish in this enchanting location where the sea and river come together.

Minca

Tag 9-11

Welcome to Minca, the ecological gem of Colombia. Prepare to be captivated by the Marinka Waterfalls, experience the magic of sipping chocolate caliente con queso while basking in the sunset's glow, all while taking in the breathtaking panorama of Santa Marta and the majestic Sierra Nevada. With exclusive access to a private river spot, we'll further immerse ourselves in nature's embrace. A cacao and coffee tour will unveil the secrets of these beloved flavors. As our adventure draws to a close, it's time to make our way to Santa Marta for our final farewell.
