Day 1: Arrival in London - Friday Welcome to London - the heart of international finance 💰, British history, high-society and of course the heart of international cuisine 🍸. London is connected to the world by six international airports, of which most run a direct bus or metro line to the city center. Upon arrival, please find your way to the hotel. I will share the address with you after booking and be happy to help with directions, if needed. 🛩️ Depending on your time of arrival, you can check in into your allocated room or leave the luggage at the reception. In general, today is free for you to do and explore London on your own. Once everyone has arrived, you will get the opportunity to meet your TripMates for the weekend. I will take you to a historic pub (with interesting history), where we can grab a local ale (or non-alcoholic drink) over dinner and get to know each other. 🍻 INCLUDED: ✅2 nights in a private single room and shared facilities (without breakfast) ✅ Traditional British Sunday Roast in a historic pub, if we all meet before 5pm or alternative another British dinner menu - excl. drinks

Day 2: Excursions to Tower of London, London Bridge - Saturday We begin this day early in order to beat the crowds. 🥐 After enjoying breakfast in a nearby venue, we hop on a sightseeing tour bus that takes us to central London. For some of you, this will be the first time exploring London and you can get an impression of the sheer size of England's capital, and with that some of the most beautiful attractions along the route. The big opening makes the notorious fortress Tower of London 🏰. We can spend some time exploring the grounds, see parts of the former royal residency and visit the famous “Beefeaters”, the guards at the Tower of London 💂. On our way to the roof-top viewing platform, we will cross the Tower Bridge. Here, we have entry into the bridge and will walk on the glass walkway, which was installed in 2014 and opens a fantastic view onto the Thames and people below 🌉. Here, I will make a reservation for our group in advance in order to secure a time slot. We will have the opportunity of getting up real high! But don't lose your head in the skies. Standing so high above ground can be overwhelming! In the afternoon we`ll enjoy a very special tradition of Britons: The Afternoon Tea. It will be served in one of the coolest venues of the city! I have no doubts: The grand finale of our tour will be the evening on the River Thames Uber boat! Day 3: Discover more of London`s best cuisine - Sunday (Day of departure) We begin our day with a walk to a cool breakfast restaurant, where we start with a full English breakfast (vegan and veg options available). Fuel up with a delicious fry-up! London is so big and diverse in terms of boroughs and people that there will be still so much to see. If your flights is in the afternoon or evening, join the group on a food walk to the oldest market of London. We can also grab snarks here and you will have the opportunity to try some very British and internationally inspired dishes and learn about the history of England`s cuisine: the buns and pies. After that we have a full day to see more of London`s attractions such as Greenwich, that gives the Greenwich Mean Time its name, The British Museum and more interesting modern and historical sites.
