Do you like hiking? Are you enjoying warm water baths? Would you like to explore São Miguel that way? You are welcome to join us on a hiking and thermal bathing trip around the green island’s calderas of Sete Cidades, Lagoa do Fogo and Furnas. Six diverse lakes with stunning views and changeable sceneries in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Hiking, bathing in thermal pools, sleeping in a tent, adaptable traveling plan and lots of hidden insider tips to see how locals live. That is our formula for the unforgettable adventure in touch with the nature. São Miguel is the largest island in the Azorean archipelago. It is also called The Green Island and will mesmerize you with its beautiful volcanic sceneries with wide green meadows, very hospitable people and their simple life. Who are we? We are two friends, Peter and Eva. We both traveled a lot and were living abroad in different countries but this island stole a piece of our hearts. We enjoy discovering places on foot and camping so we would like to share our enthusiasm through that adventure experience. Our traveling guide is „planned spontaneity “. We speak English, German, and Serbo-Croatian fluently and are Slovenian native speakers. We are beginners in the Portuguese language. What’s included in the price? - Entrance fees for thermal pools - Camping costs (Shared tents) - Transportation costs during the trip About meals, every day one warm restaurant meal is planned. One evening we would also enjoy the fireplace and prepare a barbeque meal. Costs of food are not included in the price. The main idea of the trip is planned spontaneity during the trip. So please keep in mind that this is a rough plan adaptable for interests that appear while traveling and mostly because of the island’s changeable weather conditions.
