Being situated in the middle of Indian Ocean Sri Lanka has lot to offer towards the visitors. Sri Lanka is just 65625 SQKM tiny island but it includes scenic blue beaches, Rain forests, Mountains and amazing wild life which makes this island a complete package to travel. This tour itinerary is a tailor made plan for those who have never been to this magical place. Also for those who likes to explore ancient history culture and arts there is no better place that I could recommend. Please join with me to experience the warmth hospitality in South Asia.

My name is Mihiran commonly known as "Mihi" a pro local tour guide from Colombo Sri Lanka. I have studied Human rights and law from University of colombo as my masters and Social science in International studies at Open University of Sri Lanka. Also I have obtained my tour guide licence by Sri Lanka institute of Tourism and Hotel Management. Currently I work as a part time freelance inbound tour consultant and I do mange few humanitarian projects conducted by International non governmental organizations. with my experience in various fields such as sports, adventures, Arts, human rights and tourism I have many stories to share with you all. Lets have a good time in Sri Lanka.

We will stay at (approximately) 04 locations during this trip. I will arrange accommodation at 3 star hotels with breakfast included for each day. also I am more than happy to receive your ideas to choose locations to stay during the trip. In some areas hostels also provide very good service and situated very close to the main cities. lets have a good conversation before we choose accommodation always.

Sigiriya

Tag 1-3

On the first day, I will pick you up from Colombo international airport and we will drive to Sigiriya which is a 4 Hour drive from Colombo. In the northern Matale District of the Central Province of Sri Lanka, close to the town of Dambulla, sits the historic rock fortification known as Sigiriya or Sinhagiri. It is a location of historical and archaeological importance, and it is distinguished by a huge, 180-meter-tall granite rock column. This great fortress is built by King Kashyapa during the late 5th Century BC. Currently, this area belongs to the archeological department of Sri Lanka and we will explore a lot of things about History, culture, Nature, and especially local food here.

Kandy

Tag 3-4

Central Sri Lanka contains the significant town of Kandy. It is situated on an elevated area surrounded by mountains that are home to biodiverse rainforests and tea plantations. The picturesque Kandy Lake (Bogambara Lake), which is a favorite place to wander, is the center of the city. The Temple of the Tooth (Sri Dalada Maligawa) shrine, which is honored with the spectacular Esala Perahera annual procession, is one of the revered Buddhist places that Kandy is famous for. Kandy also has a royal botanical garden and great viewpoints which we suppose to visit during this trip. After Kandy, we will take the train to Ella.

Ella

Tag 4-6

Ella is a small town in the Badulla District of Uva Province, Sri Lanka governed by an Urban Council. It is approximately 200 kilometers east of Colombo and is situated at an elevation of 1,041 meters above sea level. The area has a rich bio-diversity, dense with numerous varieties of flora and fauna. We will get to Ella after a scenic train journey from Kandy and you will get to experience the local life and their customs. We will visit many natural resources around Ella and you will get to experience a great nightlife under chill climate conditions.

Unawatuna

Tag 6-8

Unawatuna is a small city situated by the side of southern coastal belt. This small but a beautiful city has one of the cleanest and safest beaches in the world. also this city is very popular among the young tourists for deep sea diving, Snorkeling and whales watching activities. The historical Galle Dutch fort is also situated very close to this place and we have many things to explore in down south when we get here. After this i will drive you to the Colombo airport for drop and on our way we can explore the main city of colombo as well.
