Travelling with a local

Would you like to know Lisbon how a local does? Then look no further! This trip will consist on seeing some of the famous landmarks of the city of Lisbon and also exploring some places that are not so known and that are considered hidden attractions in the city! The ideal TripMate for this trip is one that enjoys walking and exploring the city, can socialize and be friendly and also doesn't mind having fun! Each individual will be responsible for their own arrival and departure flights, but I'm here to assist you with any questions or uncertainties regarding the arrivals and flights. All shared expenses, such as groceries, fuel, and other related costs, will be managed through the Splitwise app The activities are not included in the price, as they may differ depending on the number of TripMates.

About me! I am a 30-year-old Portuguese born and raised, who has worked in the financial industry for 5 years and recently discovered the bug of traveling! I'm always willing to help when I can and learn new experiences from others.

Details about the accommodation: The accommodation will be an Airbnb close to the center of Lisbon, equipped with private rooms and a common area for socializing. The amount of rooms and the selection of the Airbnb will depend on the number of TripMates. Also will make sure that the accommodation is close to a supermarket, therefore if wanted, the meals can be cooked at home. Lisbon

Tag 1-3

The day of the arrival will be for us to get to know each other better, hang out at home and eventually go out to dinner and enjoy some of the nightlife scene in Lisbon or get some rest to prepare for the next day. The second day will consist on visiting the downtown of Lisbon, where we get to explore places like Castelo de S. Jorge, Terreiro do Paço, Rossio and others, while also seeing some hidden attractions around those places.

Belém

Tag 3-4

In the third day, our journey will start in Cais do Sodré and we'll go along the river until Belém where we'll see the main spots like the Tower of Belém, Mosteiro dos Jerónimos, try the famous Pastéis de Belém. After that, we'll head back to Cais do Sodré to visit that area and have dinner in one of the restaurants in Timeout's Mercado da Ribeira.

Almada

Tag 4-5

This day, we're going across Rio Tejo to Almada, to visit Cristo Rei. After having lunch, if the weather allows, we can go to the Costa da Caparica beaches or we get back to Lisbon for some souvenir shopping. Then, in the evening we'll have a farewell dinner around the center.

Lisbon

Tag 5

Today's the last day. Depending on the scheduled flights, there can still be time to visit other areas that weren't explored prior. In the end, it's time to say goodbye and hope that the trip was worth coming back!
