Hey fellow nomad adventurers! we are looking for 10 comrades to join us in a vibrant and diverse co-working experience where we'll be enjoying a rural getaway in the so-called "spanish hawaiian coastline". If you feel like meeting new people with same interests like you: nature, sports and healthy habits, welcome to the troupe! Lots of spontaneous fun and spirit of adventure is what defines us, and we are very stoked to you share it with you! 🌅 Our agenda promises both adventure and tranquility. Once everybody finishes working, our scheduled activities like surfing, yoga, paddle surfing or surfskating are sure to energize and give you the opportunity to explore the amazing nature around. 🚗 In case you don't feel like doing any active activity, you can always dive into exploring the beautiful surroundings and enjoy some of the wild and beachy spots around the village (trek through the Ruta de las trincheras, walk around Playa de Bayas, enjoy the amazing views at Cabo Vidio lighthouse, visit the sailory Cudillero village...). For this, we count on a 8-seat van for any spontaneous outing and maybe some off-the-beaten-path adventures! Regarding the meals plan, bed&breakfast is the basic package you can pick, but don't miss the opportunity to taste some of the best known homemade local specialties such as cachopo, carrilleras, or pote asturiano. Also, on Saturday night we’ll have a BBQ evening to savor homemade burgers and vegetables (vegetarian, gluten and lactose free options are available at request). Of course we are open to suggestions, and you are very welcome to propose an international cuisine dinner night, or a dinner out to enjoy some of the local restaurants around. About Me! My name is Bea, I'm a former employee in the financial IT sector who decided to part ways and start my own entrepreneur expertise by running a Surfhouse. I've always been very passionate about sports, nature and active lifestyle and, after years of making a living with a desk job, I finally got to meet my opportunity in the gem of the northern spanish coastline, Asturias. Join me in this journey enriched with familiar expertise and fresh discoveries :)

🏠 COCOS SURFHOUSE is a cozy and family-owned premium hostel located in San Juan de la Arena, a small and adorable village in the Cantabrian coastline. The house offers both, private and shared rooms in a surfery and beachy decorated asturian house, that was carefully renovated to keep the original essence of the Indiano period. The house has also various common spaces such as a living room with a cozy and hugging sofa, TV with free streaming platforms, DVD and cable TV; hippie chill out area to lay down and have a good read, or an outdoor sofa area to spend a quiet evening. High speed Wi-Fi, in a specific co-working room away from any noise is available. Accommodation options: Option 1) Bunk-bed in dorm room and shared bathroom Option 2) Private room (King's bed) and shared bathroom Option 3) Private family room and en suite bathroom (4 people min) Please note: The price indicated in this posting is specifically for Option 1 (Bunk-bed in dorm room). San Juan de la Arena

L'Arena, as locals name it, is a beautiful and peaceful fishing village in the western part of the Cantabrian coastline. You will find it very easy to relax as you watch the tide come in from its port or the sunset over the estuary, while enjoying its maritime façade evoking the past, which was so well reflected by the poet Rubén Darío and the painter Joaquín Sorolla. L'Arena has a riverside promenade that delights the most demanding visitors; with a fishing port and a marina; with the impressive beach of Los Quebrantos; with its little fishermen's and Indiano houses; with its restaurants serving 100% Cantabrian cuisine; with its lively streets and parks... it is without doubt one of the jewels of the central Asturian coast. Under the serene influence of the Nalón estuary, in L'Arena you can contemplate sweet sunsets or sunrises, and if you are looking for panoramic views of the entire western coast, you can go to the viewpoint at Pozaco point, and from there you can see from the island of Deva to Cape Vidio. In L'Arena, sea and estuary bathing, surfing days, sailing and fishing days, quiet walks and good food await you. A real Cantabrian luxury.

Cabo Vidio

Cabo Vidio, in Cudillero, is an epic coastline with rugged cliffs and a lighthouse that offers stunning views and a nice trek at this amazing setting. The lighthouse is the last one built in Asturias and one of the last in Spain. The views, specially from the east side of the cape are spectacular, with a slate falling completely vertical from almost a hundred meters high.

Situated further on from the beach of L'Arena, it begins at a viewpoint with access by stairs which leave from the beach of Los Quebrantos. Its waves are highly valued by surfers and the stunning views make it one of a kind due to the wild nature around full of cliffs and an infinite sandy spot.
