Are you a nature and wildlife lover? Are you thrilled by new adventures and discoveries? Have you ever dreamed to explore the arctic, under the midnight sun, with amazing locals, happy to share their lives and surroundings and teach you about their lands? Then this trip is MADE FOR YOU! I have partnered with the talented Jesus, a professional wildlife photographer who has been published in National Geographic, BBC Earth, and multiple national and international media, to take you on an unforgettable journey through the Finnish, Swedish, and Norwegian Lapland. There, we will be able to meet and admire our most illustrious arctic neighbors at this time of the year: brown bears, reindeer, moose, sperm whales, puffins, European eagles, red foxes, lyre roosters, capercaillie, arctic hares, snowy partridges, otters, European minks, seals, porpoises, etc. (They are a lot!). You will be able to live what the typical polar day is (that is, there will be no night or darkness during the trip) and you will be amazed by the landscape contrast. From the boreal forest dotted with immense lakes to the Norwegian fjords, passing through the high Lappish mountains. This once-in-Lifetime experience will forever be in your memory (and your hard drive) as our talented photographer will take professional photos of our wild encounters for you to cherish back home! Also, this trip will be respectful of the land, the flora and fauna as well as the local lives we will encounter. About me: Hello, my name is Jeanne! Kuusamo

Tag 1-2
Our adventure begins in Finnish Lapland! You will land at the tiny airport of Kuusamo or Rovianemi, where we will be waiting for you to start the adventure. There, you will hallucinate beautifully to experience the challenge of your first day without night!
2

Naatikkavaara

Tag 2-3
After a delicious breakfast tasting some Finnish specialty, we will enter the dense forests of the country. To sum up, Finland is forests and lakes everywhere you look. And in them dwells the king of Lapland, the brown bear. At this time, bears have just left their hibernation burrows and the little cobs are discovering the world for the first time. We will spend the night in an observation shelter enabled to take photos, observe them and take the occasional nap. We will take a light night inside the sighting shelter, equipped with bunk beds and a dry bath.
3

Finland

Tag 3-4
We will leave the shelter where in the morning, after hallucinating on the sightings of the day before. We will head west among more lakes and forests, with our eyes wide open to see moose, reindeer, capercaillie, lyre roosters, etc. As we will be tired after the night in the sighting shelter, today an incredible compensation awaits us. A hotel with a lot of Nordic care ... but let the surprise factor work!
4

Kiruna

Tag 4-5
This morning we will change countries! For now the landscape will remain very similar, lush boreal forests full of life and water everywhere! Today we will get up close and personal with the Sami reindeer herders (indigenous people of Lapland) who will be very busy in one of their most special months: the birth of the new generation. You will be able to see the little pups in the morning and learn about what life is like for the Sami shepherds. We will dine on traditional food (reindeer-based) next to a fire.
5

Abisko

Tag 5-6
We continue heading west to enjoy a brutal change of scenery. We will say goodbye to the boreal forest to greet the Lappish mountain ecosystem. Conifers will give way to birch forests and now the landscape will be dominated by mountains and the imposing Lake Torneträsk, with its more than 60 km long. From here we will get on by helicopter to see one of the many glaciers that surround our house. An amazing experience in which we will be completely alone. Tonight without darkness, you'll enjoy a tasting dinner at your stunning hotel
6

Lofoten

Tag 6-7
Heia, Norway! Today's landscapes will undoubtedly leave their mark on you. Small fishing and farming villages among amazing fjords. Why didn't you expect to see turquoise water in the Arctic? Well, yes! Starfish, white sand beaches, turquoise waters and rugged mountains. You won't be able to stop taking pictures! Today you will stay in a rorbu, a type of traditional construction settled almost almost on the sea.
7

Lofoten

Tag 7-8
Let's sail ! We are going to make a -respectful- visit to the largest neighbours we have around here. The impressive male sperm whales, which can reach up to 20 m in length. On this trip you will discover the amazing language of sperm whales and, with a little luck, you will be able to hear how they communicate with each other to hunt at great depths. We will also visit a colony of puffins, a bird that has us fascinated and you will understand why. In its colony also flies one of its predators, the European eagle; the largest eagle in Europe. We will propose a typical Norwegian farewell dinner full of fresh flavours of the sea (other options available, of course).

Narvik

Tag 8
We will drop you off at the airport to start your journey home. It has been an intense few days in which surely the image you had of Lapland has changed completely. You've been able to see incredible behaviours from our non-human neighbours, learn from them, and get to know them better. You have photographed incredible landscapes, you have disconnected to the fullest and -I hope- that you have had a great 🙂 time
