Athens with a local! Explore neighbourhoods, traditional musical fiestas, history and food!!!

Hey!!! 🖐🏻 I am Alex, living in Athens for my photography studies. I grew up in a small mountainous village of Greece called Konitsa. I moved to Athens 4 years ago and now i’m living here, exploring small hidden corners, searching for Greek traditional fiestas in the city, trying to make a big city feel like home. About our trip: We will be living in the center to be able to walk around to experience the city to the fullest. We will be sharing rooms in a hostel. What I truly want to show you is not the touristic side of Athens, the monuments and the full extravagant presentation of the Greek culture. On the contrary, I will be showing you the beautiful side of Greece but also the real one. I will be showing you what real Greek music is, rempetika, music from the 60s, traditional music from all around Greece. We will be walking to historical places, but also to neighborhoods that are making history at the present. We will also be going to the mountain Hemittus where there is the perfect spot to relax and have a drink after our short hike to a beautiful view point. As far as the last day is concerned, I wanted it to be free to decide together, after having seen Athens, what would we all like to do. 📸 I should add that as a photographer, I will be glad to photo cover our experience in Athens (if you wish so). 📸 Reasonableness to say that if you would like to discuss the trip, to add or change something, I will be glad to do it!
