Hi everyone! I'm organizing a Spanish Immersion Course in Mendoza, Argentina. From May 17 to 26, 2024. The idea is a small group of people (max 8) who want to visit vineyards and wine tasting, go to national parks, go to hot springs, relax, while learning Spanish. Accommodation is in a country house
About Me! I'm Cari, a Spanish teacher. I love traveling, I have visited many countries and I love the experience of cultural immersion. I have been teaching Spanish online since 2018 but this year I have decided to go one step further and accompany other people to get to know my country and my cultures.
Accommodation is in a country house for a maximum of 10 people. The place has a swimming pool, 4 bathrooms, kitchen and large dining room.There are single rooms and also some double rooms. You can choose to share or have an individual place, depending on your preference. There we go, mainly, to have breakfast and dinner. Lunches will be outside during the excursions. Mendoza, the capital of sun and good wine! The country house is located in Chacras de Coria. A quiet area near the capital of Mendoza. That will be our accommodation for the entire week. The visits will be every day to different places.

Casa Vigil (El Enemigo)

Our first night We'll have 10-course welcome dinner with 10 wine pairings. We will also visit this internationally renowned winery that has won different awards. The idea is to get to know each other and share a relaxed evening.

Mendoza

In the morning after a good breakfast we will take a tour of the city of Mendoza, passing by the monument to General San Martín, different squares with characteristic mosaics of this city. We will also see the irrigation canal system, which is another characteristic of Mendoza. Then we will return to the house in Luján de Cuyo and we will have a cooking lesson.

Bodegas Norton

The morning will be free for breakfast, Spanish classes and then we will go to another internationally known winery: Norton. There we will have a tour of the entire wine process, ending with a pairing of wines with cheeses. At night typical dinner: asado argentino. We will also have a tango class and show.

Today from noon we will visit an olive oil factory, learning about the production process from the olive to the table. Then wine tasting in three different wineries, with explanation of the production process.

Parque Provincial Aconcagua

Day in nature. We will go to Aconcagua National Park, there We will do a short walk to arrive at the foot of Aconcagua, the highest mountain in Latin America.Activities such as horseback riding or cycling. We will also visit the Inca Bridge and the Potrerillos Dam

Termas de cacheuta

We will go to the Cacheuta Hot Springs to relax. From the different pools there are incredible views of the Andes mountain range. We will have lunch there and relax in a quite atmosphere. You can go for the mud spa if you like the idea.

Mendoza River Expeditions

The morning will be free to be at the house and just relax. Then, we will have lunch and time to have fun! . Rafting and laughter in one of the beautiful mountain rivers of Mendoza. A typical activity to do in this lovely place of Argentina

Rosell Boher Lodge

The morning will be free to visit the city of Mendoza on your own, you can go shopping or simply walk the streets and get lost among the locals. In the afternoon we will go to a beautiful winery where we will taste wines, cheeses and olive oil.

Cabalgata Relincho

Our last day together: we will go to spend a full day in nature. We will go horseback riding for an hour at the base of the Andes mountain range and then We'll have an "asado". We will share how we feel on this trip and what experiences we liked the most.
