In addition to natural beauty, it is adorned with small medieval towns with cobbled, narrow streets. Pula is the largest city of Istria located in the very south. It is known for its Roman ancient buildings, the most famous of which is the Amphitheater of Pula. The city has a long tradition of wine making, fishing, shipbuilding and tourism. Another town that will absolutely enchant you is Rovinj, known as the one of the most picturesque and romantic towns on the Mediterranean. It has charming stone paved streets, overshadowed by old, closely built houses with particular architectonic touches and roof terraces, renaissance town walls, beautiful churches and galleries under the clear sky. ABOUT ME: My name is Alisa, and I am 27 years old from Croatia. I'm a very positive and open-minded person who likes traveling and meeting new people. On this trip, I'm going to show you the best of Istria. We will enjoy sun on Rovinj riviera, find out how old the Amphitheater of Pula is and what gladiator fight looked like. Also, we will taste the traditional cuisine that Croatia is famous for and finally spend these three days like real locals. Pula
Tag 1-2
We will meet on Friday afternoon at our accommodation. After we check in and settle in the room we go to see Old town and walk along the main street of Pula (Sergius street), which is full of tourists, shops, souvenir shops, restaurants and cafés. We will end the first day with dinner in one of the best restaurants in Pula, located on the beautiful Dante's square and according to TripMates' wishes, we can go for a cocktail or glass of wine in a bar with a view of the Agustus temple.

Rovinj
Tag 2
Today we will take a bus to Rovinj for a one day trip! We will have a chance to take a walk around the city, admiring its beauty. We'll visit Grisia (Old town), the town walls and gates and the church of Saint Eufemia. After the tour, we will have the opportunity to taste the traditional Istrian cuisine in the Neptun tavern and end up this day in the pleasant atmosphere of the Mediterraneo bar, which is located on the rocks right by the sea in the most famous street of Rovinj.

Pula
Tag 2-3
It is our last day, and we will spend it visiting the Amphiteater of Pula with an experienced tour guide. We will also visit other cultural sights such as Old town, Forum square, Triumphal Arch of Sergius, Augustus Temple and Fostress Kaštel where you will see Pula on the palm of your hand! Then we will have lunch together and have to say goodbye because the moment of departure has arrived. See you soon on the next trip!
