A Local's Guide to Food in Rome, Italy

About me: Hey, y'all!! My name is Marguerite and I'm super excited to be leading this trip. Before beginning college, I spent about six months living in Rome, an experience that shaped so much of who I am and how I travel. Whenever friends or family would come to visit, I would give them a walking tour of the city I loved so dearly that included all of my favorite local spots to eat. My friends and I ate at a different place almost every day we lived there, and left having discovered what we considered some of the most overlooked spots in the city. I really want to continue supporting the people whose livelihoods rely on the success of these businesses and also let other travelers experience the incredible food they have to offer!! Details about the accommodation: The accommodation will be Airbnbs! Each place will have individual beds for each person. In order to keep this trip affordable, most of the Airbnbs are equivalent to 3-star hotels in the US. Bathrooms are shared, and bedrooms may be as well (but with your own bed). More details on Airbnbs will be available upon request!! The final night in Rome will be in a hostel, in order to avoid one-night Airbnb fees and keep this trip affordable!
