6 Day Safari & Beach Adventure in Tanzania: Zanzibar, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Africa

On the first day, we will settle in at our accommodation and eagerly await the arrival of all our tripmates at Ausha's airport. In the evening, we will gather for a delightful dinner, providing us with the perfect opportunity to get to know one another!

As we embark on our Safari journey, our first destination will be the famous Ngorongoro Crater. Imagine standing on the rim of this ancient crater, peering down into a pristine wilderness that has remained virtually unchanged for millions of years. The crater stretches over 260 square kilometers, encompassing a diverse ecosystem that supports a remarkable array of wildlife. As you descend into the crater, you'll be greeted by a panorama of breathtaking beauty. The crater floor is a patchwork of savannah, forests, and shimmering lakes, all framed by towering walls that rise up to 600 meters high. Here, the circle of life plays out in vivid detail, with lions prowling the grasslands, elephants lumbering through the forests, and flamingos dancing in the shallows. Norongoro Crater is not just a haven for wildlife; it's also a living laboratory for scientists and conservationists. This UNESCO World Heritage Site offers visitors the opportunity to gain insight into the delicate balance of nature and the efforts underway to protect it for future generations.

Our next adventure takes us to the renowned Serengeti National Park, the largest National Park in Tanzania. It is also one of the world's most expansive wildlife sanctuaries, covering approximately 14,763 sq km at an altitude of 4,200 ft. The name "Serengeti" originates from the Masai language, meaning "endless plain," aptly describing the park's vast and diverse ecosystem. It encompasses kopjes, savannahs, scattered woodlands, hills, lakes, rivers, and ponds, providing a habitat for a myriad of bird species and a spectacular array of wildlife. As we venture through the Serengeti, we'll encounter a captivating assortment of creatures, including giraffes, Cape buffalos, elephants, lions, cheetahs, leopards, wildebeests, zebras, and many more, roaming freely across the land. The world-famous wildebeest and zebra migration is a unique phenomenon, where countless individuals traverse the plains, following the seasonal rains in search of green pastures. After a day filled with awe-inspiring encounters, we'll spend 2 nights in the tented lodges in Serengeti during the Safari. After an unforgettable Safari experience, we will head to the domestic airport to a catch a flight to the captivating island of Zanzibar, continuing our adventure in this beautiful part of the world.

We will indulge in a luxurious stay on the enchanting island of Zanzibar, nestled in the heart of Stone Town. Spending 3 nights immersed in warm hospitality, while enjoying the poolside relaxation and the pristine beaches overlooking the Indian Ocean. Zanzibar offers a variety of activities for every taste. We will have the choice to embark on thrilling water sports like snorkeling, scuba diving, or jet skiing. To visit landmarks such as the House of Wonders or the Old Fort. And live a culinary experience with the vibrant flavors of Zanzibari cuisine. Stone Town has an ancient culture-rich melting pot, where Persian, Arabic, Indian, and European influences have merged over centuries offering a unique and fascinating destination. It is an ancient trading town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is really the heart and soul of Zanzibar Island. After a delightful 2-nights stay, it's time to bid farewell to Zanzibar and head back home, taking with us unforgettable memories of this adventure, and will depart from Dar Es Salam airport.
