5-day Gray Whale Adventure in Baja, Mexico!

Join us on a 5-day Gray Whale Adventure in Baja! Gray Whales migrate from the Arctic every year to Baja California Sur to reproduce, give birth, and feed their calves. Over the years, these gentle giants have developed a relationship with boat captains, making it a unique experience where whales bond with humans. During this road trip, we will travel from La Paz to Guerrero Negro (770 km), and visit several stunning places on our way to the lagoons, where the whales are hanging out. Baja California Sur is a one-of-a-kind destination, where the Mountains meet the Sea. I am Rachida. I travelled all over the world before finding home in the bay of La Ventana, Baja California Sur, Mexico. I am an ocean lover, a dive master, and recently started spearfishing. I love to discover untouched areas and seek local experiences. What's the plan? Day 1 Departure from La Paz in the afternoon. We will make our way to San Carlos - approximately a 4-hour drive (270 KM). Night in San Carlos. Day 2 Gray whale observation in Magdalena Bay. We will have lunch, then drive 480 KM to San Ignacio - approximately 7 hours. Night in San Ignacio. Day 3 Early morning start to Ojo de Liebre Lagoon - approximately a 2.5-hour drive {150 KM). Grey whale observation. Free afternoon, where we can visit the town of Guerrero Negro and/or visit the salt flats. Night in Guerrero Negro. Day 4 Grey whale tour Ojo de Liebre Lagoon, then we will head out and drive 220 KM to Santa Rosalia, on the Sea of Cortez - approximately a 3.5-hour drive. Night in Santa Rosalia. Day 5 Scenic drive to La Paz 550 KM - approximately 8 hours. Frequent stops along the way in small towns and in the famous Bahia de Concepcion.
