Weekend in Budapest with a local | Party | Beer Bike | Canoeing

Guided trip
Living is easy in Budapest, especially at the beginning of summer. Our mild weather is perfect for a city tour, but warm enough to get you thirsty for the night. I am Lili, a working student, born and raised in Hungary. I am an easy-going travel lover, who loves to cook and do outdoor activities. After living in Greece for six months I am ready to reevaluate why I hate pálinka. I read somewhere that Hungarian cashiers are mean so if you need saving from them, why not join my trip? ;) During this crazy weekend, we get to see all faces of the Hungarian capital city. Just to be a bit cultural I will show you all the attractions worth seeing, and when we get tired and thirsty we hop on a beer bike covering the rest of the journey. To burn more of those liquid calories I propose a short canoe tour on the Danube, with some music in good company. "When the night has come, and the land is dark..." Budapest has many cool ruin bars and dance clubs to offer. Cheap drinks of good quality, how I would describe what is waiting for us. If all our energy said goodbye to us, or need a tactical rest day in between the Széchenyi Fürdő is there to ease the pain in our aching young bodies. Keeping my artistic vein under control, let's summarise... Join my trip if you are young, fun, ready to party, and still want to get the most out of your daytime hours in Budapest. I even offer to teach you a bit of the language with no other to compare with, the wonderful language, Hungarian. I included in the price the accommodation, the beer bike rental, and the canoe boat rental.

Trip Itinerary
1

Buda Castle

Day 1-2
The capital city of Hungary is sliced into two by the River Danube. The first day we spend discovering everything that the Buda side has to offer. The plan is to wander around the Buda Castle, to make the most instagrammable (is it even a word?!) pictures at Fisherman's Bastion, and if your fitness allows it we climb the Gellért Hill to have a view over the city. The night is for exploring the ruin bars of Pest.
2

Deák Ferenc tér

Day 2-3
On the second day, we continue where we left off the night, and visit the sights worth seeing on the Pest side. These are amongst others the St. Stephen Basilica, the Parliament and the Castle of Vajdahunyad. We cover the centre part of the city with a beer bike, using our legs and hands, eyes and mouths at the same time.
3

Széchenyi Thermal Bath

Day 3
Don't forget your swimming suits at home either!! Because e make a stop to relax our bones a bit in one of the famous thermal baths in Budapest. The yellow building and light blue water will charm you for sure. It is situated in the City Park next to Heroes Square, offering us an extra stop while we are there
4

Római part

Day 3-4
The third day's chill is a canoeing trip on the Danube. From the "Roman shore," we row up on the river making some stops on small islands along the way. Don't worry if you don't have much experience, it won't be my first time on the water, canoes are not so easy to tilt upside down, and you will always have your life west. We finish off at the same spot where we started, visiting there a grill garden, known for their unique ba, which is two old ruin buses, full of everything you might want.
