Guided trip
On this trip, you will have a complete view of the island in an all around trip. Seeing the best hidden spots, feeling the different climate zones, eating local food and bathing in wonderful, crystal clear seas, while sleeping in different cities every day. ๐Ÿค” What to expect on the trip: We will start from "The Nest" hostel closest to the south airport, which is located in El Medano, a popular surfing spot with a nice beach and plenty of services. There are 6 nest hostels around the island and you can switch between each of them thanks to their "bono" system, so we can spend our time in the most beautiful places without having to hurry to come back to the starting place! We will move all around the island, taking some of the most beautiful routes, visiting both the lush north and the dry south, eating out in local restaurants ("guachince") in cities which are small jewels, often hidden from the usual touristic experiences. Some parts of the trip require a little walking on steep roads (the best places are sometimes a little afar from the roads). I will take care of everything from your pickup at the airport to food and accommodation. The beds are in a hostel with shared rooms, I will provide locks for the lockers for everyone. If it's possible (usually it is) I will try to have the hostel putting us together in the same room each time we move. It's possible also to have a private room for a higher price (In El medano there are no private rooms, but I can arrange you in a different hostel nearby and come pick you up as we leave). The price for the private room is maximum โ‚ฌ60 a day, you just have to make up for the difference when you come. ๐Ÿงณ What you need to put in your luggage: - ๐Ÿ‘• Some heavy clothing (In the evening, Tenerife is not as hot as you may think!) - ๐Ÿ‘Ÿ Comfortable shoes (sneakers are fine) - ๐Ÿฅพ anti-slip sea shoes (if you don't have them I can provide, they are very cheap) ๐Ÿ’ฐ What is included: - ๐ŸšŒ Pickup and transportation from and to the airport - ๐Ÿ—บ Logistics - ๐Ÿ  Accommodation (hostel - shared rooms with possibility of private room) - ๐Ÿฝ Food and 1 drink per meal - ๐Ÿคฟ Useful items like snorkeling masks and rock shoes - ๐Ÿงญ My guidance and explanation of the story and characteristics of each place โŒ Not included: - โœˆ๏ธ Flight - ๐Ÿท Drinks and alcohol outside the ones included in the meals package - ๐Ÿ’ธ Personal expenses The car is a comfortable Citroรซn C-elisรฉe.

Trip Itinerary
1

El Mรฉdano

Day 1-2
El medano is a popular surfers destination, if you'd like you can rent a board from the hostel (price is 10 euro a day) and go straight to the sea with a 5 minutes walk. Seeing the sunset from montana roja, one of the best spots in that area, takes only 20 minutes and it's a very easy and rewarding hike. We will have dinner in one of the many restaurants in the main square. Being the first day, we will spend it in the city (which you can visit also on your own). You can also do a bit of shopping in the city stores. I will take care of your pickup, bring you to the hostel and help with your accommodation process.
2

Los Abrigos

Day 2-3
On the next day, we will visit los Abrigos, a really nice town with a port and crystal clear waters, where it's safe and fun to snorkel. It also hosts some very good fish restaurant where we can have lunch. In the afternoon we will then go to Las Americas, the main city of the south, with plenty of beaches, stores, restaurants and a good nightlife. We will drop the luggage in The Nest of El Duque and spend the evening roaming around the city.
3

Acantilados de Los Gigantes

Day 3-4
In the morning we will visit el Puertito de Armenime, one of the most popular places of the island for snorkeling, in which we could see octopus, turtles and wonderful multicolored fish. We will eat in the typical canarian bar/restaurant which is in front of the beach, where we can taste some finger food specialties like the Papas Arrugadas con mojo rojo y mojo verde (small baked potatoes with typical canarian sauces) and various types of croquetas (fried croquettes). From there we will move to The Nest in Los Gigantes, to drop down the luggage and go to the famous natural pool, where in wavy days you can enjoy getting splashed by a wall of water on the border and into the pool (don't worry, it's very safe and fun!). We will then go back to the hostel, take a shower and go to catch the sunset on top of one of the best places on the island for that, which is one of the miradores del Teide at about 2000 mt height. Leaving at about 18.00, we will also have the time to visit some of the most peculiar places of the Teide National Park, like the sea of rocks, the martian landscape and the "canadas" (suspended rocks). If we are not tired we can also spend some time in another mirador further down the road to watch the stars before heading back to the hostel in Los Gigantes.
4

Garachico

Day 4-5
Starting from Los Gigantes, we will drive in the mountains to visit the beautiful city of Masca, a small jewel in between the Mountains, where we can have a breathtaking view of the valley below, eat some cactus ice cream and, if we are lucky, see some falcon which inhabits the rocks in front of the city. We will then go down on the north side and stop for eating in a local restaurant in Buenavista Del Norte, where you can have some true typical canarian dish like conejo in salmorejo (Rabbit with salmorejo sauce) or a wonderful parrillada (see picture). After lunch, we will descend to see the natural pools of Garachico, a nice, cozy town in the north. We can bathe there or have a walk around (quite often there are party and celebrations around the streets), have an ice cream and then go to the hostel in Puerto De La Cruz!
5

Puerto de la Cruz

Day 5-6
This is more of a chillout day, from Puerto de la cruz we will go down the coast to see some small villages and peculiar spots with natural pools. You can take pictures and have a swim in the pools while visiting some beautiful places, like Los Silos and Playa Castro. We will then move back to The Nest in Puerto De La Cruz, the second biggest city of the island. There are many shops and the main walkway in front of the sea is full of nice stores and restaurants. It is possibile also to visit the beautiful gardens in the city of La Orotava, just 5 minutes away.
6

Anaga Rural Park

Day 6-7
On the last day we will visit the Capital of Tenerife, Santa Cruz, with its cozy walkways and its mixed modern and traditional feeling, for a quick stroll before going to one of the most famous places on the island, the Natural Park of Anaga. Here we will go for a hike in the forest (around 4 hours) which is a completely different experience compared to the rest of the island, with its shady and humid climate. The hiking trails are a must-go for those who visit the island. We will then stop in The nest hostel in Aguere, where we will spend the last night. Drop off to the airport in the next day will be organized by me.
