Hello! 🙋🏻‍♀️ I am Shireen from India and I love organizing trips!🏃🏻‍♀️ This time I decided to do a more relaxed trip amid the hills to the beautiful sleepy town of Kalimpong, India. 🤩 Kalimpong is a small town with surrounding areas that offer immense opportunities for tourism. The weather would be pleasantly combined with magnificent views of Kanchenjunga and other Himalayan snow peaks, sweeping landscapes, and lush greenery.🌲 It also consists of lovely housing architecture in traditional British style that reminds one of the typical British countrysides. ⛪ It is a melting point of diverse cultures and traditions from Lepchas, Nepalese, British, Indians, Tibetans, and even Sikkimese. These cultures are reflected in its local food, beverages, house architectures, language, and other cultural dimensions. ⛩️ This is a perfect spot for a relaxed working environment that offers stunning mountain views and wonderful scenic drives! 👨‍💻 🍃 The trip cost includes: ✔️ Accommodation with Wifi/Internet ✔️ Meals - Breakfast and Lunch/Dinner ✔️ Car rental costs ✔️ Trip Leader costs I have added some details about some of the places we shall visit during our relaxed stay. Morgan House Tourism Property

Day 1-2

Located in the verdant greens of Kalimpong, Morgan House is a mansion built by Mr. and Mrs. Morgan in the 1930s. It is an archetypal example of colonial architecture in Kalimpong. What makes visiting this gorgeous piece of construction even better is that it is surrounded by legends of it being Haunted! 🧟

Durpin Dara

Day 2-3

Offering the panoramic view of the town of Kalimpong, the snow-clad Himalayan ranges of West Sikkim, the Teesta river and its valleys, Durpin Dara Hill also has a golf course and the Zang Dhok Palri Monastery. There is also a famous botanical garden there.⛰️

Pine View Nursery

Day 3-4

The Pine View Nursery is a popular cactus nursery in the vicinity of the Teesta River in Kalimpong. It is the largest collection of cacti in all of Asia. The large greenhouse comprises a variety of exotic cactus species and is often a part of most sightseeing tours here. 🌵

Deolo

Day 4-5

Deolo Hills are located at an elevation of around 2000 m and thus, provide a great panoramic view of Kalimpong. There are also proper view points which are located at the ridge edges for the best view of the sunset and sunrise. 🌄

Crockery House

Day 5-6

Kalimpong has a strange yet beautiful relationship with old and historic structures, and you get to experience it too! The Crockety is a bungalow dating back to the British era. Around the archaic cottage, you can see well-maintained lush lawns and gardens that are pleasing to the eye. 🏘️

Zang Dhok Palri Monastery/Durpin Monastery

Day 6-7

The hill station is replete with monasteries that attract a lot of Buddhists and tourists in general. It is one of the best places here to experience spirituality and bask in the calmness that exudes from the marvelous structures. 🙏
