The Essence of South America - Brazil with jungle hiking

Time for city exploration, see magnificent botanical gardens, relax on Copa Cabana beach and climb the monument of Christ the redeemer. In the second day we will see the whole city from above from Sugarloaf Mountain which offers famous 360 view of the city and ocean.

We will use bus to get to little mountain town of Petropilis. Time to admire its colonial architecture and enjoy some local food and culture.

This day we will move further south to see the colonial architecture of town of Paraty. The place is very popular and fine example of architecture from colonial and imperial times. We will spend time getting into the rhythm of South American lifestyle and enjoying the beach and views.

Now time for nature exploration. We will stop on ILHA Grande after a short boat crossing. The island offers magnificent views, one of the most wonderful beaches in the country and unspoiled Atlantic rainforest to hike. We will have a chance to various observe hummingbirds, parrots and other animal species in their natural rainforest habitat. We will climb the parrot mountain to enjoy the sunrise on its top and swim in waterfall in the middle of the jungle. There will be also time to relax on one of secluded beaches surrounded by palm trees.

Our last day to explore some street food and beach culture by staying in famous Copacabana district of Rio de Janeiro. Time for last shopping and interaction with locals, getting ready to fly home overnight.
