Guided trip
👋 Hi, my name is Habid Ramirez, I'm a 24 years old recent graduate of International Relations that loves traveling, enjoys being a foodie, and doing outdoor activities such as hiking as regularly as possible. I had the opportunity to live for 1 year in Belgium as an exchange student, and since that moment I have fallen in love with traveling as much as I can. All my student life was spent saving up for traveling and now I got to invite more people to the fantastic adventures I want to organize. This time I invite you to enjoy the windy city of Chicago, a city full of skyscrapers just on the corner of Lake Michigan and at the end of the Mississippi River. Are you ready to explore America's third-largest city? Enjoy the summer with music festivals, street fests, lots of museums, thousands of different restaurants and cuisines from all over the world, and amazing landmarks. 🗺️ What you can expect from this trip: - Visit all the world-famous landmarks of Chicago the sky deck, Shedd Aquarium, Field Museum, Millenium Park, The Bean, Navy Pier, The Chicago Theater, and many more. - Shop and walk through the Magnificent Mile and enjoy a street-level city life like no other. -Grab your cameras for a trip on the Chicago River through a boat Architecture Tour. -Take advantage of the summer with Chicago's Lakefront with a walk or bike. Even better get the heat down with a swim in Oak Street Beach. - Enjoy the food that only a city like Chicago can offer, Deep dish pizza, Cake shakes, hotdogs, flavor Popcorns and more. - Take part in all the cultural events, concerts, and festivals that the summer brings to Chicago. There will be a lot of walking as the goal is to enjoy the city to its fullest. The schedule is fully proposed and planned by me but we can adapt to whatever you and I feel could be more entertaining and fun for the day. I am also a really vivid Foodie so my expectation is to try as many street foods, famous local foods, not so expensive restaurants as possible. Definitely down to check out some bars, rooftops, and all the Chicago nightlife as well!! I am looking for 3-5 more people to join me. Preferably in your 20s or early 30's but don't mind any age as long as you feel comfortable with the things I have planned. 💰 The price includes accommodation and service fees, I will take care of everything for you, so in that way, you can just enjoy and have fun while I guide you through this amazing trip. As for the activities my proposal is to purchase the city pass (114 USD) so we can go to the main attractions and the architecture river cruise if you are willing to take it (54 USD). Other optional activities could be the bike rental for a day at millennium park and the lakefront which go about 20-50 USD. Also if you need help finding a flight etc. let me know, I m happy to help :) Visa & Covid Requirement questions are welcome too Are you ready for Chicago? Send me a message 💬

Trip Itinerary
1

Chicago

Day 1-2
Day 1: We will meet at the hotel, introduce ourselves and get comfortable before going out to walk the city. The accommodation is planned to be near the loop and the magnificent mile with access to the metro system so it is easy to arrive from the airport. The plan for this first day is to get to know each other better. After everybody has arrived we can walk around the city grab a drink, some dinner, and enjoy a good time getting to meet everyone in person.
2

Downtown Chicago

Day 2-3
Day 2: For this second day we will start our sightseeing, we will start our day by visiting the Sky Deck on the top of the Willis Tower, it is planned to get there early so we can have quick access and don't waste so much time inline. After Enjoying the amazing morning view we will be able to walk right through the loop, the heart of the city where many movies such as "The Dark knight" were filmed, We can take one of the theme walking tours or we can explore for ourselves. Downtown is great to explore because we can also find different museums, visit one of many historic rock venues, watch the iconic Chicago theater, the Chicago City Hall and many breweries which fun fact Chicago is the city with the most breweries in the United states. So a lot of walking and sightseeing on that day! During the rest of the day, we can take a chill approach to enjoy the city, arrive to the Chicago Riverwalk and spend part of the day there either on the cafes, retaurants or get a boat to spend time in the river if you are into that. After that we can start to walk in the well-known Michigan avenue to watch the combination of classic and modern architecture, shop if you want and my personal interest to go at portilio´s Hot Dogs for , of course, a Chicago style Hot dog and an infamous cake shake.
3

Field Museum

Day 3-4
Day 3: This day is Museum day, the best option is to get the Chicago City pass so we don't have any problems entering all the attractions. We can spend all the time we are willingly enjoying the Field Museum, the Shedd Aquarium, and the planetarium. We can also enjoy Grant Park to see all the public art exhibitions and summer activities in the zone. For this day we will go to the famous Chicago-style deep dish pizza for dinner and if you are up to the adventure to seek and have fun with the Chicago nightlife.
4

Millennium Park

Day 4-5
Day 4: During this day I want to take the architecture river cruise so we can admire Chicago from a river view and get to know the city from that perspective. After the cruise tour, I plan to spend the day enjoying Millenium park and all the summer festivals and activities available this season. We can rent a Bike and explore also the lakefront of the City which will show us amazing views from the skyline. We can end the day by going to any of the Chicago Rooftop bars to spend the sunset with a great view.
5

Navy Pier

Day 5-6
Day 5: For our last day I want to start it with a late brunch in any of thousands of Chicago's cafes and restaurants so we can start the day with a lot of energy. After that, we can go to the navy Pier get on the Ferris wheel, and enjoy our day visiting shops and attractions if the day is too hot we can even spend the day chilling on Ohio Beach or Oak Street Beach to have a chill Sunday. We can plan a goodbye dinner to give closure to this experience.
