Olhão
Day 1-2
DAY 1 (Saturday) In Marina de Olhão, our sailing starting point, our catamaran (Lagoon 380) is already waiting for us. We will give you a small tour of our new home, you can move into your bunks and make yourselves comfortable. In the evening we will have a nice cookout and enjoy delicious Portuguese fish and tasty wine. Life on board is real teamwork, one of the best things about sailing! At the beginning nobody knows each other, but quickly you become a well-oiled crew of explorers that sticks together. You cook delicious meals together, decide on the next route as a team and learn exciting skills from the skipper and each other.

Culatra Island
Day 2-3
After a hearty and healthy breakfast, we cast off and set sail! ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ After a rich and healthy breakfast we untie the bow lines and hoist the sails!
3
Portimão
Day 3-4
Portimão is the largest city in the Western Algarve and was traditionally a center for shipbuilding, sardine fishing and fish processing. Today, most of this industry has been replaced by tourism, leisure and retail, making Portimão a large city with many residential areas. There is quite a lot to see in the city. The city's old and once busy fishing docks have been responsibly transformed into a picturesque promenade. Praia da Rocha is a beautiful beach, perfect for a bit of yoga and if we are lucky, the waves are big enough for surfing!
4
Alvor
Day 4-5
Alvor is one of the most beautiful resorts in the Algarve and the ideal destination if you want to spend a relaxing day on the beach. Historically, Alvor was a fortified town and fishing port. The town sits on the banks of the Alvor Estuary overlooking the protected marshlands of the Ria de Alvor Nature Reserve, while to the south is Praia do Alvor, one of the largest sandy beaches in the Algarve. Alvor is a delightful town with a typical Portuguese appearance. There are traditional whitewashed houses, narrow cobblestone streets and small fishing boats stopped on the banks of the river.
5
Lagos
Day 5-6
Lagos is known for its walled old town, cliffs and Atlantic beaches. Steep wooden steps lead to the sandy cove of Praia do Camilo. The nearby cliffs of Ponta de Piedade offer magnificent views of the headland and a lighthouse.
