Coworking trip
When everyone thinks about The Netherlands, they think about Amsterdam. If you are like me and loves small towns, quiet places, cute café and quiet streets you’ll fall in love with Utrecht as much as I did. I’m Mélanie, a 26 freelance analog photographer based in Paris. I was born and raised in West Africa and traveled a lot before finally settling down in France. Here's what I was thinking when planning this trip 🫶🏼 - Wake up every day to do your journaling with a cup of coffee - Remote work - everyone is free to manage their own time. Being in such a beautiful place boosts productivity. - Pitch brands beforehand and shoot in the amazing Airbnb we rented (make sure they know multiples brands might have images from the same location) - Depending on the free time we have - we could do a one day trip or half a day trip to Amsterdam - Organize test shoot (we could shoot a model together and exchange skills) - I have contact with model agencies in Amsterdam - I can share with you some tips about photography, how to pitch brands, create your own aesthetic, find your path and value yourself. - At the end of the day : let's get lost in the lovely streets of Utrecht and I can guide you to all the cute cafés, locations I know and enjoy dinner and drinks together! What is included in the price 🌼 - Airbnb price and your own bedroom (30 min walk from Utrecht city center) - Photography tips / network - TripLeader-fee Additional costs 💰 - Transport tickets - Transport between airport/train station to the accommodation - Utrecht/Amsterdam 15€ both ways, 30 min by train - Personal expenses (food & drinks, insurance, visa fees, etc) You don’t have to be a photographer to join. If you work remotely and dream about working in this dreamy Airbnb, you're more than welcome! However, I - and maybe multiples people - will shoot there during the day, so you should be okay with the fact of working with people talking around. You also need to love cats, as the Airbnb has one 🐱 I would love to have a chat with the ones of you interested beforehand to see if we’re all on the same page and then plan the trip together :)

Day 1-2
Let's get get to know each other and settle in our amazing accommodation. We will stay in this beautiful flat where each of us will have its own bedroom. Utrecht

Day 2-3
You say brunch, I say yes. There are so many good places in Utrecht to have brunch and I've already tried a few of them. We can then go location scouting - I have been in Utrecht and know some really cute spots. Before a shooting it's ideal to walk about and check where you want to shoot, how is the lighting at that time of the day. I also know so many cute cafés & places to have lunch or snacks :)

Utrecht

Day 3-4
What about a test shoot? Put simply, test shoots are photoshoots that are put together expressly to experiment and create new images. They're not commissioned by a client and there's generally no money involved; it's just an opportunity for a group of creative people to get together and try out ideas. You could either contact a model agency with a mood board and pick a model for a shoot, or we could also all shoot together 1 or 2 models and learn from each other :) We can finish the day with a good restaurant and drinks in town!

Utrecht

Day 4-5
Last day is pretty free - we could shoot at home, if you have a paid client, or do another test shoot. We could also edit together images or talk about photography and share tips and knowledge. You can also take some time for yourself and enjoy the city or go together for a walk ! You have a train museum which is really nice. You can also go to Amsterdam if you wish - it's only 30 min by train and cost 15€ both ways !
