The hike leads a hidden and beautiful valley in the center of Madeira. Along an aging levada, it takes us through a picturesque area that offers breathtaking views of the valley and the highest mountains of Madeira. Since this levada is partially no longer maintained, short but steep and unsecured sections are possible. Distance: about 14 km Gradient: 500 m Level: moderate Length: 4-5 hrs.

The Levada Ponta Do Pargo trail is a coastal hike on the west side of Madeira Island. It is an epic sunset route with incredible views of the sea cliffs and azure waters. In addition to the coastal scenery, the trail also takes you into the forest as you follow the levada through the rolling hills, always with a view of the sea.
