Hello! I am Fırat I am 26 years old, born in Turkey and raised in several locations in Turkey. I have lived in Ankara for a long time and I have lots of contacts in the city for everything. From a place to stay (in case something happens with the current accommodation, so you can trust me on not to sleep on the sidewalk 😋) to numerous activities like a nice dinner or attending a concert. 🎸 --------------------------------------- Let me tell you about Ankara. Ankara is the Capital of Turkey. It has lots of landmarks like Anıtkabir or Ankara Castle 🏰. It has a great night-life as well as nature not that far away from the city. You can see the cultural places and experience the hearth of the country. You can see the history of Turkey Republic. It has a multicultural population from all across Turkey, so you can just change the ambience only by taking a bus. 🚍 One moment you can be in the middle of the action where there are a lot of people, another moment you can be in a peaceful neighbourhood sipping your tea.☕ ----------------------------------------- What you can expect from my trip? You can look at the stops down below for more detailed information. But shortly you will experience the full city life from the food and bars to parks and historical places. I am planning to have some fixed locations and activities to visit and see. But since I also want to know what you want to do, I am going to organise some free time, and you can ask me to do the activities or explore a specific place you might hear before. I will be guiding you all the time. We can discuss this before or during the trip.😎 ------------------------------------------ The price includes: - 6 nights of stay -Transport from the Airport in Ankara to accommodation and from accommodation to airport at the end of the trip. (So I will arrange to drop you where I took with tears because you are leaving.😓) -Public transport (since you need a specific card and a bank account for the transport, I don’t want to bother you for those, and to make things faster and not boring) - Car expenses -Ticket prices for museums and such. (again to make things faster) -My fee (for organising, local knowledge and guiding fees) ------------------------------------------ The price NOT includes: -Plane ticket. -Personal expenses like gift shopping or drinking/eating in a bar. -Travel Insurance. -Cooking ingredients. Trip Itinerary

Ankara
Day 1-2
On monday, since everyones departure might be in different times, we can relax in the apartment, talking and geting to know each other better and have a tour of the neighborhood. And we can go groccery shopping for the night or later days.

Anıtkabir
Day 2-3
On tuesday, the place we are going to stay is at a walking distance to Anıtkabir. Anıtkabir is an important place for Turkish people. It's the memorial to and tomb of the Founder of The Turkish Republic, Atatürk. I can say it's the most important place for the Turkish people. Inside, there is a museum and a little gift shop. After that we can go to "7. Cadde" within the walking distance and sit on some nice places talk a bit, eat or drink. And i can give a brief briefing what we are going to do on the next day. Don't worry if it's going too slow for you, you need to buckle up for the next days.

Atakule
Day 3
On Wednesday, we are going to Atakule. This is the most common landmark of Ankara after Anıtkabir. It have lots of shops and most importantly we are going to climb it to the top! With a lift of course. From there we can see 360 view of the entire city.

Botanical Park
Day 3
After we climb down from the tower we can sit and relax at the Botanical Park. It's a place with flowers, a little lake. It's a green heaven in the City. After that we are going to see most of the parks in the city until we reach our next stop.

Kızılay
Day 3-4
This is the heart of the city. Lot's of people, shops, bars and well, people. If we are not too exhausted because of the walk we can walk in the streets and find a good place to sit and chill. We might find a place with a band playing then we can call it a night.

Mogan Lake
Day 4
On thursday, we are going to have a little roadtrip. Ankara usually known as a landlock city but we have a beautiful lake that other people might think of it as a sea. We can take photos and enjoy the view for a while and have a little walk near the lake.

Eymir Lake
Day 4-5
This is a lake a bit far then Mogan Lake and it's deeper into the nature. It's a Lake that belongs to Middle East Technical University (METU). A nice walk under the trees are waiting for us. We can walk through the woods. And can take more photos. Since the next day will be a free day so we can go home and discuss what we all want to do and how i can arrange it.

Ankara Castle
Day 5
It's Friday! So it's the free time that i promised. I only planned one trip for today. We are going to the Ankara Castle. It's a historic place oversees the entire city. I can act as a tour guide and answer the questions about the place.

Ankara
Day 5-6
After we are done with the Castle, I didn't planned anything so the Tripmates can offer some activities and i will check if we can do that or not. It could be a night out, a bike ride or maybe just chill in the house talking to each other. The choice is up to us.

Museum of the War of Independence
Day 6
On saturday, we are going to a museum. We can learn about the Turkish Independence War. I will ask your questions about the War like a tour guide. We visit the gift shop and then we can go to our next and last destination.

Cebeci
Day 6-7
Since it's our last day and it will be my first successful trip as a TripLeader, i am going to arrange a little party in a consept terrace bar with a view of most of the places we visited in the past days. Exclusive to our group as a thanks for joined my trip. We can drink, talk, laugh and share our experience with each other.

Ankara
Day 7
We are going to check out from our apartment and end our trip. Depending on your departure time, we can have breakfast together and share our lovely trip pictures. I will either personally or by a driver ensure your drive to the airport. I am sure that you are going to love Turkey and we will see each other next time on another trip.
