Leidseplein
Day 1-2
This is the ultimate girls’ trip to the exciting city of Amsterdam with its beautiful canals, unique architecture, and vibrant nightlife! We will explore all that the city has to offer and leave no stone unturned. It’s going to be fantastic! For starters, we will meet up at our trendy hostel located in the heart of the city. We will enjoy a welcome drink together as we get acquainted and unpack. We will then freshen up and head out to explore the neighborhood on foot before enjoying some traditional Dutch pancakes (poffertjes) at one of the many famous pancake houses. We will make a pit stop at the famous Tony’s Chocolonely to taste all their crazy flavors, before heading down to Leidseplein, one of the most famous and busiest squares of Amsterdam with its many pubs, bars, entertainment and shopping. We will pick a spot to enjoy dinner and celebrate our first night together in Amsterdam!
2
Dam Square
Day 2-3
Get your camera ready, because this morning we are heading down to Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in Dam Square to rub shoulders with the rich and famous! Afterwards we will explore the town square where you can observe the Royal Palace and shop at 'De Bijenkorf' ("The Beehive"), one of the Netherlands' premier department stores or at the many souvenir shops that line the Damrak. Then for the foodies at heart, we will head down to the Albert Cuypmarkt, the largest and most popular outdoor market in the Netherlands, a favourite of locals and tourist alike. Here you can taste all the typical Dutch street food such as bitterballen, stroopwafels, patatje oorlog and kroketten...my mouth is watering already😜 The rest of the day is spent sightseeing and for leisure. We can decide what we would like to do for the remainder of the day and find a nice spot for dinner and drinks in the evening.

Red Light District Amsterdam Centrum
Day 3-4
What better way to experience the city that is built on water, than from the water? We will start off our day with a spectacular canal cruise, floating past Amsterdam's top-rated sights. Upon our return we will take a tour through the home of Heineken and enjoy a tasting session. Don't miss the chance to learn all about the beer that was born in Amsterdam and get a taste of the freshly-brewed tipple. The rest of the day will be at leisure before returning to our hostel to get ready for a night on the town. We will start off with a guided tour of Amsterdam’s best-kept secret at The BonTon. Situated in the infamous Red Light District, it has established itself as the no.1 exclusive strip club and historic sex work house in Amsterdam. Here we will learn all about the history of the building and sex work and its development through the ages. We will spend the rest of the night discovering the Red Light District by joining an exciting pub crawl where we will visit 4 bars and a nightclub and enjoy free shots and drink specials on a fun-filled night out. This will be an unforgettable night😉

Day 4-5
Today we will escape the hustle and bustle of the city and go on a half-day guided bus tour of the Dutch countryside. We will start off by visiting the windmill village of Zaanse Schans, home to several still-functioning windmills. We will watch a live demonstration of a traditional clog maker crafting the famous wooden shoes of the Netherlands before enjoying some free time exploring the village and visiting a windmill. Negen Straatjes
Day 5-6
After the last two jam-packed days, you will have today to spend at leisure. Go off the beaten path and explore by yourself, rent a bike or discover some museums. Alternatively, you can join me for a fabulous day of shopping at my favorite destination known as Negen Straatjes, home to a great number of vintage stores, alternative fashion, and specialized theme stores🛍️ Along its cobbled avenues you will find an eclectic mix of independent shops, galleries and hidden bars and restaurants. For those more daring, why not join me at The Bulldog, famous for being the very first coffee shop and learn about its history and discover some of the hiding places for cannabis during the early years. Even if you are not into the high-life, there are many other things to order during your visit. Then for dinner, let's all head to the Food Hallen where you can taste all the good food the city has to offer under one roof. With a wide variety of cuisines from all over the world, you can find something for everyone.

Anne Frank House
Day 6-7
Today we remember the story of Anne Frank, who wrote a diary of her family's two years in hiding from the Nazi’s during the German occupation of the Netherlands in World War II. A visit to the Anne Frank House is a must if you are in Amsterdam. After our visit, we will make our way down to the Anne Frank monument. For the adventurer in you, I have planned a relaxed little scavenger hunt to take us across the city to explore some hidden gems off the beaten track. Let’s have some fun and try some new spots for lunch and dinner today😊 What do you say?
