diving sites are flexible. The red sea has always been a very thrilling destination for divers from all over the world. With warm weather all year round, corals have the perfect environment to grow and nourish, attracting both exquisite marine life and terrestrial life alike. Hurghada is known to have some of the healthiest, most vibrant, and most resilient coral reefs in the Middle East. If you are ready to have a thrilling diving experience in some of the most beautiful diving sites, you should start packing and join me right away. I received my Advanced open water diving license and I'm planning to make the most out of it. I'm responsible for planning the whole trip, so you don't have to worry about a thing. I'm planning 10/12 dives. if we want to do more, we can arrange that. I listed below some of the famous sites, but there are plenty. The ones listed below are not obligatory, we can choose whichever sites we want, or we can adjust according to recommendations. In general, I'm a pretty flexible guy and always open to suggestions ;) The pre-calculated costs include transportation from and to the airport (Hurghada), the accommodation, transportation from and to the diving sites, 10 dives, and lunch after dives. They don't include plane tickets. There is also the possibility to join if you don't have experience in diving or don't have the license. You can join on the boat, snorkel, take a swim, enjoy snacks and lunch, or just kick back and enjoy the sun. The cost will however be less than that of the diving. Note: I don't orgainize trips to earn money. I orgainize to share an exciting time with fellow travelers and get to know more people. That being said, if we have a little extra by the end, we will plan something as a bonus with the rest of the money. If you have a question or suggestion, please get in touch.

Carless reef diving site

Day 1-2

Carless Reef is around 14 km north east of Hurghada, between Shaab Umm Qamar and Giftun island. It is 200 m long with the reef top being at just a couple of metres. Expect to see giant moray eels and white tip reef sharks. The reef has two pinnacles at 12 m.

FANADIR MARINA

Day 2-3

A ledge at 12 m slopes down to a drop-off starting at 22 m. One of Hurghada's largest coral reefs. It has been a marine protected area since 2006. This is a place for everybody, shallow or deeper dives are possible.A lot of things to see and with some lucky dolphins.

Jazā'ir Jiftūn

Day 3-4

The Giftun islands are opposite Hurghada. They have been a marine protectorate since 1986 and divers need to pay 20L.E (Egyptian pounds) to go there. This money goes to maintaining the national parks. There are restrictions on how many boats are allowed.

Turtle Bay

Day 4-5

Off the northern end of Giftun island. As the name suggests, you will see some turtles ;)

The Oberoi Beach Resort, Sahl Hasheesh

Day 5-6

"You'll see turtles, eagle rays, octopus,lion fish, trumpet fish, rays...here you will see everything; and just off the coast too! "

Gota Abu Ramada South diving site

Day 6-7

Coral gardens at the west and east points of this reef. It has been a Marine Protected area since:1986. Plenty of different fishes and corals.

Here is a list of all diving sites in Hurghada. The above mentioned sites in the stops are fixed. I'm just lisiting a few to fill in the blanks. We shall visit 2 different sites per diving day. You will see something new everyday.
