Ciao 👋🏻 Join my short trip to Florence (Firenze) in Italy, an open air museum of a city, with fine Tuscan restaurants and cobbled streets. This trip will be all about discovering one of the most beautiful and prestigious regions in Italy. September is the perfect time to visit, when the weather is still great, but peak tourism season has ended. A BIT ABOUT MYSELF: My name is Elisa, a friendly and energetic person from Florence, Italy. My passion for travel has led me to live in Spain and now in London, UK. I am a Media Operator working for Warner Bros. Discovery 🌎 with a passion for languages, food and movies. TRIP OVERVIEW: During this holiday we will stay in Florence for 4 days (3 nights) and we will do a day trip out to the surrounding area. - We will visit the town center of Florence across 2 days with its famous museums and landmarks 🖼 - We will then do a day trip to the Tuscan countryside in the Chianti region, famous for its lovely red wine 🍷 THE PLAN: I am looking for 2-4 travelers to join me on this adventure. We will be staying in an Airbnb with a kitchen. If you are happy to share rooms we can cut the costs though single rooms can be arranged and prices adjusted accordingly 😊 For transportation, we will be using my own car 🚗 and we will share the price for the gas and cleaning. TRIP COST: The trip costs a base of 263 Euros which includes accommodation, transportation, service charges and me as a tour guide, showing you the best sights in a way only a local could! Trip Itinerary

Florence
Day 1-2
We will meet in the center of Florence at lunchtime, seeing sites like the Cattedrale Santa Maria del Fiore (the Duomo), Ponte Vecchio and Palazzo Vecchio. Later in the afternoon we have the option of visiting the Galleria dell' Accademia where the famous David of Michelangelo is. We will stay in an apartment in the center of this beautiful city ♥️

Chianti
Day 2-3
On day 2 we will visit the spectacular region of Chianti in the heart of the Tuscan countryside. This place was historically associated with a wine bottle enclosed in a straw basket called “fiasco”. We can taste some local extra virgin olive oil, with a plate of prosciutto and cheese 🧀 accompanied of course with a glass of Sangiovese wine 🍷 whilst I tell you some curiosities and legends about this region.

Florence
Day 3-4
On our last full day we will spend our time in Florence. We could visit the famous Uffizi Gallery Museum which might take the whole morning. We will then get to the breathtaking view of the city from Piazzale Michelangelo 🌃 and we will finish the day with a relaxing drink 🍹 on a secret rooftop with more locals than tourists 😊. We'll stay in the apartment for one last night before parting ways the following day.

Day 4
After checking-out of our apartment, we will spend a relaxed day in the city center, with no strict timings. We will visit the Mercato di San Lorenzo, a famous craft and food market 🛍where you can do last minute souvenirs and local products, and can part ways when necessary depending on flight timings ✈️
