Guided trip
Trip Description: In September 2022, I’m going to host a 6-day trip to our TripMates to my hometown. The capital city of Thailand, Bangkok, which means The City of Angels. During the trip, I will show you all many aspects of my beloved city. Moreover, we are going to do the famous excursions and trying Thai food like a local. It’s going to be fun and amazing. First, let me introduce myself before going through the detail of the trip. I want you all to know about who I am and what’s my goal. My name is Sirayos, as known as Kai. I'm a native Thai, born and raised in Bangkok. In this year, I'm turning into 30-year-old at the end of 2022. I'm a super-introvert and a little shy, but love to meet new people from different backgrounds. I’m very chilling and flexible. My English is fine. It might take a bit of some gestures to communicate with me, but that is a challenge to learn and exchange the culture. My goal is to show Thai hospitality, like Thais always said; Thailand is a Land of Smile; and to gather, build a community and share experiences, skills or stories from every aspect and background because I do believe that everyone can be friends. THE TRIP DETAIL: Day 1: I’ll welcome and pick-up all TripMates from the Bangkok airports or wherever you are arriving at Bangkok. Because of different arrival time from each TripMates This day, I’ll just show around to a landscape of Bangkok and there will be a welcome dinner together to break the ice and let everyone know each other more. So, we can be more fun together within this trip. Day 2: We'll start to explore the heart of Bangkok, which is an old town and settlement area of this beautiful city of Bangkok. This area is called "Phra Nakorn District". We're going to explore the highlight spots which are the famous Temple of the Emerald Buddha and the Grand Palace in the morning. Moreover, we’re going to sightseeing around the area, visiting some temples or awesome museums in the afternoon. For dinner, we’re going to the famous Bangkok China Town, which is used to be a business district of Thailand in the last centuries. We’re going to find and enjoy the famous street food. Day 3: This day is a one-day trip to the famous Damnoun Saduak Floating Market located in Ratchaburi Province. It takes approximately 2 hours driving from the centre of Bangkok. We’re going to explore how the local lives along the river like a traditional way of Thai style living in the past. After driving back to Bangkok, in the evening, we’re going to have a buffet dinner on a cruise along the River of Chao Phraya which is like a main bloodline of Bangkok rivers. We’re going to admire the Bangkok landscape at night from a cruise, which is super gorgeous and amazing. Day 4: We're exploring modern part of the city which is the business district, Silom and Sathron Road and visiting the famous Hindu Temple, Sri Maha Mariamman Temple. In the afternoon, I’m going to let you all free time at the famous Jatujak Weekend Market. You can buy or negotiate good stuffs like shirts or any souvenirs. Trying negotiation with the vendor is super fun. Day 5: This day, I’m going to drive you for 1 hour to the previous and ancient capital city of Siam; Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. We’re going to sightseeing and exploring the ruin of the city, some old temples or stupas. This day, I’ll hire an English-speaking local guide who can better explain a thing about the Ayutthaya than me. It’s going to be a one-day trip. After back to Bangkok in the evening, we're going to have a farewell dinner together to cerebrate our awesome trip. Day 6: After the breakfast at the hotel, I’ll drop everyone off wherever and whenever you want. i.e., the Bangkok airports if you are heading back home or going to other destinations, or drop-off at any accommodations in Bangkok if you are going to experience Thailand more on your own. ATTENTION: This is including the cost of: - All 5-night accommodation with breakfast (Approximately 40 EUR per night per room) - My Personal Car (Please kindly understand offering me 60 EUR; a whole 6-day trip, for my car's depreciation, maintenance, and insurance) Excluding Gasoline Cost - 2 Dinners - A buffet dinner on a cruise along Chao Phraya River.
