November!! You wake up and you wish you could spend your day in sunny, warm, and colorful surroundings, tasting different flavors and dining from exotic cuisines. Triggering my senses thrusts my mind forward. And Dubai is the best place to do that! I am planning my next mind-business-trip from Friday, November 17, to Sunday, November 26, 10 days / 9 nights, in a beautiful area in Old Dubai, close to the sea. I am looking forward to sharing it with like-minded people, who need a change of scenery for working during the day and enjoying what this great city has to offer after sunset! If you like details like me, have your fill & please note that this is an outline program for everyone, I am happy to go to lunch with those who want in the old souk or other areas you choose or organize a visit to accelerators, incubators or other business centers. Hampton by Hilton Dubai Al Seef

Day 1-10
Arrive at Dubai airport and transfer to the hotel by taxi, check-in, refresh, meet and greet. πŸ“Hampton by Hilton Al Seef We kick our first evening with a dinner at an Emirati restaurant: πŸ“Arabian Tea House - Al Bastakiya "A taste of genuine traditional Emirati hospitality" It is a quaint tea house in the Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood, once known as Al Bastakiya. It is a beautiful vestige of the old times, with its authentic style and turquoise benches, white rattan chairs, lace curtains, and beautiful flowers. Their recipes are passed down from generation to generation. It's a cuisine rich in spices and flavors that are so characteristic of the Arabian Peninsula. We go to the restaurant and back to the hotel by πŸš•.
2

Al Ghurair Centre

Day 10
Hopefully, everyone has arrived by day 2 and we are all settled. We start with a healthy breakfast at the hotel and work our way through the day, in our rooms or the various beautiful corners of the lobby and working spaces, or outdoors in one of the cafes. >>> The Seef area is a waterfront strip with beautiful water views. It has restaurants and cafes, all offering free wifi. It makes a very relaxing outdoor working space <<< We can eat lunch together or individually, depending on everyone's work schedule. We carry on working during in the afternoon. Around dinner time, we walk a few minutes to the Dubai water taxi (Abra 🚀) station and take the abra to cross the creek. From there we have a few minutes walk to Al Ghurair Center. It is the first mall to ever open in Dubai in 1981. It still holds lots of charm and a wide variety of shops and restaurants. It has a Spinney's branch for grocery shopping. It is located in a populated neighborhood with a mix of nationalities, languages, cultures, food, and restaurants. We can shop for groceries and everything else we need and have dinner in any restaurant of our choice. We come back to the hotel by 🚀 or πŸš•.

Desert Safari Tours Dubai

Day 10
Sunday Funday and 1/2 work πŸ₯³πŸ₯³ Breakfast at the hotel. We can work in the morning and have a light lunch, and I do advise a light lunch for our adventure of the afternoon/evening. At 2 pm we will be picked up from the hotel for a desert safari, until late evening! Desert safaris are a must when visiting the city for an escape. The desert surroundings are magical, especially at sunset. We will have dune bashing, sand boarding, camel rides, dress up in Arabian costumes and get our pictures taken and then we will have a BBQ dinner, with soft drinks and a live entertainment oriental show with Arabic music, belly dancer, and all the shenanigans. 🌞There is always time to sit quietly on the sand and admire the sunset and the beautiful color palette. It takes my breath away every time ... if we're lucky, we can spot some camels walking in the distance πŸͺπŸͺπŸͺπŸͺπŸͺπŸͺ back to their farm. Time Machine effect!! At the end of the evening, we will get dropped off at the hotel.
4

Al Seef

Day 10
Monday!! We kick start the new week with stamina after our desert escape. And guess what we are doing during the day? work!! πŸ˜‰ In the evening we can walk to the Al Seef waterfront and have dinner in one of the restaurants.
5

Museum of The Future

Day 10
Tuesday πŸ€— Another breakfast, coffee, tea, snack, lunch, and more coffee, tea ... but most importantly productive work! In the evening we can take the metro to the Museum of the Future, or the most beautiful building on Earth, as it is called. It is one landmark in Dubai that I haven't visited previously, and I will be happy to explore it with you. After the visit, we can take a walk in DIFC (Dubai International Financial Center), the heart of the business in Dubai, yet it takes a different vibe at night. It houses food joints from a usual pub to the hella expensive restaurants and nightclubs and everything in between. The choice is ours on where to end the evening!
6

Dubai Marina

Day 10
Wednesday! You guessed it πŸ˜‰ Breakfast and work and coffees and snack and lunch and more work Aaaannnndd in the evening we are going yachting πŸ›₯️ We're taking a πŸš• to Marina and then board a mega yacht for a dinner cruise for 90 with live entertainment. Afterward, we can stop at Pier 7 for drinks 🍸 in one of the pubs with a beautiful view of the neighborhood.
7

Burj Khalifa

Day 10
Thursday is here! You know it, or usual schedule for the day. For our evening we are heading to Burj Khalifa by metro and then by taxi to beat the traffic. We will get off at the Dubai Opera and walk through Burj Park to Burj Khalifa. The plan is to get tickets to the viewing decks of Burj Khalifa, at sunset (πŸ€žπŸΌπŸ™πŸΌ), it can be the general admission tickets to levels 124 & 135, or it can be inclusive of level 148 where we are served refreshments and an explanation of the view. The price is double from one option to the other. We will make a group decision about that once trip mates confirm the trip, noting that tickets have to be booked weeks in advance for availability. After coming back down to earth from the highest building on the planet, we visit Dubai Mall, shop and have dinner with a view of the fountains.
8

Sonamu Restaurant

Day 10
Fridayyyy πŸ’ƒπŸ»πŸ’ƒπŸ» Friday always makes me happy in any country and following any calendar, either the anticipation of the weekend or enjoying the feel of the first day of the weekend. Our Friday will follow the normal calendar. And because you all know it by now, we all win a break in the evening to go out for dinner πŸ˜œπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ This is a personal favorite that I would to enjoy with you at nearly the end of our time together. Sonamu Restaurant: Korean Cuisine & Sushi (it's yum, yum & double yum!!) Located in Asiana Hotel in Deira, it is one of the oldest restaurants in Dubai, still offering a great quality of food and service.
9

Mumtaz Mahal Indian Speciality Restaurant | Best Restaurant in Bur Dubai

Day 10
Saturday! Almost the end of the journey (sigh). For a change today we're going the have breakfast, coffee, tea, snacks, and lunch while working πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰πŸ˜…πŸ˜… For our last evening, let's indulge ourselves with Indian food, at one of the renowned Indian restaurants, that hosts friends, couples & family gatherings. It can also alter some dishes on the menu to be blunt and not spicy, for people allergic to spicy food like me. It has a cozy friendly atmosphere for our last night. We can always go for drinks after that 🍻
10

Dubai International Airport

Day 10
Sunday!! The last day of our trip 😐 I hope it was a beneficial break for every one of you with some productive outcome and that you are ready to go home with the sun in your eyes and Vitamin D in your veins, with a full belly and floating in all the aromas of those 10 days!! We will kick off our day with breakfast, we check out and the rest of the day will be planned depending on everyone's flight details. If anyone needs a personal extension on their hotel booking, I will be happy to help out. If you are reading this line, then I guess you are serious about being my trip mate, I will be happy to answer any questions you have.
