Discover Italy's most beautiful wine region 🍷 with a local + 2 day trip in Portofino

Hello everyone 😊 If you are looking for an experience that mixes fun, relax, nature, stunning beaches with good food and good wine look no further! ☀️🍷🌊 Do you like wine, green hilly vineyards, small historic colourful villages, clear blue water and good food? So do I, and I would love for you to join me in this one week itinerary. Just about 50 km south of Turin, the Langhe region is an extraordinary wine district rich in noble vineyards, gorgeous sceneries, ancient castles, and outstanding cuisine declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2014.🍇🍷 September is the best season to visit as it is grape harvest time and you might even get a chance to crush some grapes with your feet. We will visit some of the most renowned villages, have guided wine tastings and visit beautiful estates to learn about wine (no need to have previous knowledge), eat local food and relax by the pool in our accommodation. I planned a day excursion in Turin, my city, which has incredible architecture and really cool vibes. Our journey will continue with a short road trip (2.30 hours)🚗 to Santa Margherita Ligure where we will stay for 2 nights, allowing us to explore Portofino, Baia di Paraggi, Baia Cannone and much more while eating lots of focaccia. ☀️🌊 ✋ About myself: My name is Serena, I am 26 years old and I grew up in Turin and its stunning surrounding area, which I am really looking forward to showing you :) I currently live in London where I work in sustainability. I speak English, Italian, Spanish and a bit of French and Russian. I like good food, wine (obviously), doing yoga, travelling, photography and cooking. I am an experienced traveller and this is my first trip organised through JoinMyTrip - very much looking forward to it. What is included in the price: 💰 - Accommodation in Airbnb in Langhe - Accommodation near Portofino - Car for entire duration of the trip - 1 winery estate visit (including wine tasting) - 1 dinner in the vineyards & tasting + grape harvest experience Costs shared on the trip: gas, grocery shopping, tolls for Portofino trip, museums in Turin, meals out. 🛏️ About the accommodation: For our first 4 nights I booked a beautiful Airbnb only a short drive away from La Morra, Barolo and Monforte d’Alba. The house has 5 double bedrooms, therefore 4 private ones and one shared bedroom if we reach full capacity. Each bedroom has a private bathroom. We will also have one big kitchen and a swimming pool. For our second stop we will be staying in an Airbnb in Santa Margherita Ligure (a few minutes drive from Portofino) to make it cheaper and to avoid crazy parking fees in Portofino. The flat comes with 3 bedrooms so hopefully by then we will all feel comfortable with each other and have no issue sharing bedrooms for 2 nights :) Expectations about the trip: I am looking to have a fun time, doing lots of visits/sightseeing but also taking the time to enjoy the places we will see, having some long relaxed meals either at home or outside and chill at the beach/pool.
