Coworking trip
Hey, I'm Kai! I used to run a restaurant chain in Singapore, but have left to travel the world full-time. I am also on a side quest to look for orphanages around the world that I can support. Traveling has always been in my blood. If you love to travel as much as I do, you got to join my trip! 💛 Here's what's included in the price for our trip to BANGKOK: - Accommodation for all 10 nights (in Yard Hostel, Bangkok, about 25€ per night) 🏡 - A small trip leader fee of 50€ Here's what's excluded from the price: - Food (You can estimate about 10-15€ per person, per day.) - Entrance ticket/ activities - Daily Transportation (Grab and similar services are fantastic here. You can estimate about 5-10€ per person, per day.) - Car rental fee (You can estimate about 30-40€ per person, per day. We will not be renting a car every day, but only on days when we need to travel further.) Here's some other information: - We're looking at 3 to 5 pax for our trip. - This is a Co-working Flexible Trip, which means YOU will choose when and what to do. Everything I've mentioned here is just my suggestions, but we will ultimately discuss and decide together. I'll do the planning, admin, booking, etc. after we've decided where to go. More on our accommodation: - This is a HOSTEL stay, so I'll suggest you travel light. - This trip fee consists of a 25€ per night accommodation fee. I will help to book the hostel for you and update you on the actual price per night paid. If it falls below 25€, I'll return the excess charge to you. I personally paid 22€ per night for my stay. - Check-in is at 1400hrs and check-out is at 1100hrs. - Do let me know what time you're arriving. - The nearest airport is DMK. I'll guide you on how to come. Scroll down to view the accommodation we'll be staying at! Want a shorter stay? You don't have to stay the entire duration. If you can only join us for a few days, DM me on Instagram! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out on my new Instagram! www.instagram.com/solotravelwithkai Love, Kai 💛

Bangkok

Day 1-11
Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, is full of culture, history, delicious cheap eats, and hidden gems, and for those who enjoy shopping, you will be pleasantly surprised by the number of night markets and affordable shopping options packed in this city. Besides all that, there are many great spots to visit on a half/ one-day trip (listed in the following stops below). Discover Bangkok! (my suggestions only, feel free to pitch in!) - Chao Phraya River (scenic boat ride overlooking major attractions such as the Grand Palace) - Khao San Road (famous nightlife and bars scene) 🥳 - Chinatown (including a hidden cozy bar, set in the late 70s Chinatown theme) - Wat Arun - Erawan Shrine - Wat Phra Chetuphon - Pak Khlong Talat Market (a 24 hours flower market) - Chatuchak Market - and a must-do activity in Thailand: Muay Thai!
2

Amphawa

Day 11
Amphawa is best known for its authentic floating market experience. Every weekend, people (mostly the locals) flock to the Amphawa Floating Market - a very unique cultural market, where food, drinks, souvenirs and much more are sold on boats floating on the Amphawa Canal! Despite modern times, the Amphawa Floating Market still retains its original old charm. 🚣‍♀️
3

Mae Klong

Day 11
Moving on to a popular sight among tourists: a Railway Market! 🚆 This particular railway market is located in Mae Klong, also known as Rom Hup Market. It's a traditional Thai market selling fresh produce with quaint cafes nearby, but what makes it unique is that part of the market is sitting on actual railway tracks! Catch the locals packing away to allow the train to cut through the market a few times a day. If you haven't been to a railway market, this is a must visit!
4

The Artist's House

Day 11
The Artist's House is a unique, quiet, hidden gem away from the city hustle in Bangkok. The area, Baan Silapin, features: - An old-charm, less touristy floating market and shophouses - Art galleries and activities by local artists I personally love people watching, admiring the local art scene, and discovering hidden gems, so this is perfect.
5

Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya

Day 11
Ayutthaya is located on the outskirts of Bangkok, best known for its rich history and culture, including temples and palaces. It is also a food magnet! We will find fresh river prawns, fish, Thai noodles, and more in this gorgeous old charm. You will spot fascinating architectures, gorgeous temples and palaces with some looking something like the famous towers of Angkor Wat. Get your cameras ready because this is seriously a stunning destination! PS. We can also visit another hidden gem along the way, the Dhammakaya Temple, which is made up of thousands of Buddha statues! Swipe to see this beautiful temple.
6

The Yard Hostel Bangkok

Day 11
Swipe to see some pictures of our accommodation at The Yard Hostel Bangkok! The Yard is an eco-hostel smacked in the center of Bangkok. It's unique in a way that they use recycled materials to build the rooms (which are actually old shipping containers). Yard's goal is to provide a living space that's warm, friendly, family-like and one that brings people together. I'm in NO affiliation with Yard but this was the most sociable and homely hostel I've came across so far. It's not a party hostel though! Amenities: - Free WIFI - Air Condition - Free Bicycle for rent - Free luggage storage - Huge green-nature space for you to relax at - BBQ Equipments - Super comfortable bed and duvet Check in time: 1400 to 2200hrs (If you're arriving at a later time, do let me know.) Check out time: 1200hrs
